16:54Can Brustenga deliver ?
16:55Il y a eu de fine sprinting form depuis l'année dernière.
16:58Riders taking to the smooth surface de la bike path sur le right-hand-side.
17:02On le right-hand-side, on le left-hand-side,
17:04il y a des modern adventure pro-cycling team.
17:07Can they get Pickrel into a potential top 10 ?
17:10Tom Crabbe, juste derrière l'arrow-head.
17:13Le rest lancer la route.
17:15Le reste-leader, il y a eu de la tour.
17:17Ballerini, il y a eu de l'outre-side aussi.
17:20Kaspr van Uden et Team Picnic post-Habilité squad
17:23want to commande to le peloton,
17:25all the way to the finish line,
17:26approaching le kite.
17:27Le reste-hand-side est-il à la route,
17:28le reste-leur-ident huddle.
17:30Il y a eu de l' forefront de l'équipe de Flanders,
17:32Valois, c'est Vera Gerrard.
17:34Il y a eu de modern adventure pro-cycling team.
17:36de l'advantage, ils l'aident le peloton, ils l'aident à la ligne, 900 mètres à
17:42gore, c'est un long long way de la ligne, Tarteleto Iserex trying
17:45to move up, riders going down in the middle, Kipo Kérén Farmal,
17:49so the rider from Tarteleto Iserex, I think, might have been implicated
17:54in that one, and we see the Albuquerque Premier Tech team just
17:58trying to launch, Senchens stepping up for them today, so it is
18:03the Albuquerque Premier Tech that are going to lead them into the
18:05final 300 mètres, Tom Krabbe elbowing himself onto the wheel
18:09of Davide Ballerini, Ballerini third in line, just behind Senchens,
18:13Senchens launches inside 200 to go, here comes Tom Krabbe,
18:17Tom Krabbe up through the middle, Senchens trying to hang on for
18:21Albuquerque Premier Tech, and it's Krabbe that's going to get it,
18:24Tom Krabbe gets it two days in succession, remarkable stuff for
18:28the 20-year-old Belgian, as he delivers another sensational
18:32victory for Team Flanders, Ballerini gets the hand clap of
18:37celebration, and congratulations from his rival, Senchens, who's
18:42not quite able to deliver, second day in succession for the
18:45Albuquerque Premier Tech, the squad that they've had to give best to
18:48Tom Krabbe, and Team Flanders, Ballerini, another Belgian one too,
18:52but it's Krabbe on top once again.
18:57Yeah, and I think it shows that the riders had to really think on
19:01their feet today, I think Albuquerque Premier Tech had to
19:04readjust last minute when they didn't have Sumon De Geer in the
19:08last 5k of the race, and I think that also Tom Krabbe had to really
19:12work with his teammates to get back after being dropped on the final
19:18short, sharp climb, about 7k from the finish, so he really, they
19:23all worked together, it was definitely a team win and a team
19:26effort, and you can see it's really taking its toll on him here, he
19:29needs to take a little break, take a sit down and let it all sink
19:32in, what a couple of days the young Belgian rider has had
19:35lining up against world tour pros and taking two wins in a row.
19:40He went deep for that, and he has delivered again, and it's
19:43Fera Gerrard that comes over to congratulate, to thank, to
19:48celebrate alongside Tom Krabbe. Delivers a fourth victory in what
19:53is very much a nascent professional racing career. It's
19:57going to look as they work their way under the trees, plenty of
20:01jostling for position, looks like potentially one of the ATT
20:03riders that goes down, and Team Valti visit Malta, and Kipa
20:08Kern Farmer I think implicated in that crash, potentially one of the
20:11Bardiani riders at any rate, they were left tumbling, left it up
20:14to a select group at the front, which included the likes of
20:17Fernando Gaviria, and then already made it in, but very much at the
20:22front, it was the Alba Sim Premier Tech team in command, the lead
20:25out available for ascensions, but lurking in fourth place on the
20:29tail of Davide Ballerini. Great performance as well from the
20:36Borgesborg Pellet rider Cesar Mathias, as he takes the wheel of
20:43Tom Krabbe, but Tom Krabbe at this point, just in time. Bike
20:48throw to the good, not quite as comfortable a success as 24 hours
20:52ago, but nonetheless it is two in a row, and across the bumpy
20:56cobbled up on the seafront in Marmaris, delivering in fine style. The
21:03overall race leader extending his advantage into day three.
21:07Lenny Lakovsky picks up a Turkish flag on the run to the line,
21:10nice top ten for him, but it's Krabbe on the top step of the podium.
21:17And lovely to see some family support here in Turkey for him,
21:21after what I'm sure has been a whirlwind 24 hours for him and his
21:27parents. All good at the moment, Tom Krabbe leads him across the line at
21:31the conclusion of stage two ahead of Sentience, another Belgian one-two,
21:34Krabbe on top again, Cesar Mathias in third place for the
21:38Borgesborg Pellet squad, Ballerini, Anilkowski and the rest.
21:49Jeff Koenig in position to talk to our race.
21:53Marmaris is a sprinter's paradise. Mark Cavendish has won here,
21:57Jasper Philipsen, Andre Greipel, Sam Bennett, but it's never an easy sprint
22:01to win because of the hill. Tell us about your sprint here.
22:04What are you thinking about?
22:05Wow, it's just… I had so many thoughts during the final 5k,
22:10because I got dropped right before the top at the final climb.
22:14And I just tried and tried, and the team helped me so much.
22:17They were incredible. And then I think at 3k to go, I managed to get back to the peloton.
22:24And I didn't wait, I went immediately to the front. And I was just so exhausted.
22:30I didn't realize how many k's it was. And then I suddenly saw, you know, the finish line,
22:36and I got myself into, I think, top five position. And I just, yeah, I went full gas
22:41and managed to beat center right at the finish. Same thing as yesterday, I think.
22:47But, yeah, it's just, it's crazy. It was a hard day for me.
22:51Did you spot the Alperstein riders or the good wheels to follow?
22:55Yeah, well, they were in the front today and yesterday as well. They have a strong team here,
22:59who know how to sprint and do the sprint well. But I think we're able to manage them with our
23:05team as well.
23:06I think our guys did a great job today. And, you know, it's incredible to do it for a second
23:11time.
23:11How does it feel to win with a leader jersey?
23:14It's special. I think it's extra pressure. But again, I just thought myself and I told myself,
23:20don't put too much pressure on myself. And, yeah, I think it worked out. I'm just here to have fun
23:24and do my job as best as I can. And, you know, I think it could be better for the
23:28first two days.
23:29So, yeah, we'll see what the next week brings.
23:31Whatever happens next, your tour of Turkey is a success.
23:34Yeah, of course, of course. Thank you, Proficial. Thank you.
23:39Well, he's having fun and he's delivering success. Extraordinary ease at the moment.
23:46Crabbe on the victor's podium. More air miles collected for himself and his family.
23:51Trips to Turkey certainly wants two memorable ones and ones he'll want to repeat.
23:57Sanchez and Matthias joining him on the top step.
24:02And jersey classification holders, well, nothing changed there.
24:06Pomorsky adding to his total in the lead of the King of the Mountains classification.
24:11He's also accumulating points out the road in the treasures of Turkey.
24:16That's, well, the best sprinter, no doubt about that.
24:19Two victories in two days. The green jersey, while he won't wear it in tomorrow's stage,
24:24C'est parti pour le second stage.
24:46C'est parti !
25:16C'est parti !
