13:22even sometimes right it doesn't just pertain to dealing with death it could be various things
13:28where life doesn't go as we wanted it to and we realize what we've lost or we we we grieve
13:34the
13:34what-ifs we grieve relationships not working the way they we wanted to we grieve things not
13:41happening the way we wished right so there's existential fears that come with that pondering
13:45life and what we wanted to be what we thought we would be as children and life keeps moving the
13:50clock keeps ticking time is running out you're trying to find your place in this world so much
13:55angst and then you add you know especially in the west over consumerism and over stimulation
14:00polarization opinions there's a need for the message i believe of finding that peace and transcending
14:08and finding peace the song had i think over 12 million views in just eight days it's over 55
14:15million views now it captivates captivating i agree with that it says an article and
14:20i think what i'm seeing here even as we look through the lyrics again i'm laughing while
14:24embracing all the pain i find my shade by fighting with the glaring sunlight wow that's an interpretation
14:30of the lyrics by someone all the happiness is mine and so is the sadness i only know this i
14:36realize
14:37why do i need to understand everything i tell this to my heart just swirl let it go so in
14:44i in this
14:45article urduwithani.com it says it's a dialogue of spirituality enlightened person with his heart
14:50this conversation with yourself the journey starts off with the introduction of who the person is
14:55provides the gist of the conversation with the heart right reflecting on my suffering my my plot this
15:02is my destiny and fate this is the my life that i am in right learning to accept that i'm
15:08at complete
15:08peace with myself that nothing in life is hurting me i do have a lot of pain and difficulties
15:13right not denying that pain exists but i embrace them happily because they're part of me so relax
15:19just swirl let it go that's this um this interpretation of the lyrics and it's powerful
15:25and beautiful because in sufi mysticism there is this this dance where it's a form of swirling
15:31it's a physically active meditation where they they spin around they swirl and it's practiced by the
15:37sufi dervishes i hope i'm saying that word right of the mevlevi order and other orders such as the
15:44rifai marufi it's this meditation dance with a swirl um so that the lyrics here are being interpreted by
15:51as this idea of letting it go swirl to zoom as to enter the state of trance to let go
15:56and this
15:57article urduwithani.com says it's a dialogue of spiritually enlightened person with their own heart
16:03as mentioned picture this right think about this have you ever felt that when you answer one
16:10question about your circumstances another pops up and then another and another it's this never
16:15ending chain reaction right almost like going in circles if you will it becomes worse when people
16:20around you ask you a bunch of questions and so this author says the song this song to zoom gives
16:27the
16:27best answer to the very first question i don't know anything so to me it almost implies this idea
16:34of instead of going in circles with questions and questions of life and struggling about the pain
16:39and happiness we perceive and who we are and if we're worthy or not and what could have been and
16:43where we belong and life and death instead of going into that circle of questions galore both internally
16:49and externally from others around we come to a place of release letting go and swirling to reach a state
16:56of
16:59peace from from a place of i don't know i don't know anything and finding peace and understanding
17:03it's all part of who we are the good and the bad the pain the suffering the joy let the
17:10world call me
17:10mad the author says i embrace this madness and i know that i don't need to satisfy everyone even if
17:16i
17:16answer everyone's questions and make them all happy i still won't find peace which works with the lyrics
17:22where it speaks of if all my wishes came true there would be nothing left to do why should i
17:27care about getting one happiness after another that thirst will never end and there's validity to
17:32that again to me i'm thinking there's a place to climb a place to have goals a place to strive
17:36right one of the reasons we get up in the morning sometimes is because we have goals things must get
17:41done but at the same time there's also peace and realizing if i always just strive always thirsty for
17:47the next thing and i'm living my life in that place when i have this then i'll be happy right
17:51when i have
17:51that spouse when the marriage life marriage life is harder than we realize when i have the kids
17:55and then we realize oh snap sometimes i miss the days of singleness and freedom right then you
18:00have your singleness and freedom and you miss the days of having a family and community you say when
18:06i have that house when i have that when i moved when i get to that country when i retire
18:11right when i my
18:13relationship is this and that way when this person in my life starts doing this or that we're always
18:18focused so much on the next thing especially in the west right the stores will push us to that right
18:22they have christmas things after valentine's day it feels like there's always this next thing
18:27consumeristically and it's exhausting but it's also distracting from savoring the beauty and that's
18:34what was portrayed here so beautifully not only with their vocals and the back and forth dance so
18:39while we're singing of a dance and twirling and finding freedom and elevating our souls we're dancing
18:46there was this element of going back and forth between the singers and the vocalists which added to
18:51that dance we had the various instruments and pakistan instruments we find things like the tabla
18:56the sarangi sitar dolak daf bensuri different elements that were integrated both traditional folk
19:04instruments of pakistan both the drums and more modern day instruments and it was beautifully married
19:10together in this composition the choir right adding this element of spirituality enhancing this feeling
19:17of it being of worship and transcendence the whole song was this beautiful dance and even the way the
19:23men and women were dancing so therapeutic right scientifically there's something very therapeutic about working
19:29out moving your body to release toxins and to to release endorphins and have a dopamine kick right
19:36it's healthy scientifically spiritually psychologically it's good for you but it fits so well to this idea of
19:44letting go and of finding peace and then the author continues and says i tell my heart that your
19:50circumstances are not in your control right so you speak to yourself sometimes that's so good to speak
19:55to your soul and say hey heart you are okay it is well with my soul you are all right
20:00right it's part of life
20:01and you you recall everything you're thankful for you're present this is so good for me right now i hope
20:06you're hearing me too and you can practice some of this to speak to your soul you're not in control
20:11of your
20:11circumstances and that too right you need to take everything with measure there's certain things we can do and
20:16choose right now we're just to sit here and say i'm not in control of breakfast and my children are
20:20hungry
20:21something's wrong okay i have to do my part but when it comes to just trying to control everything this
20:27message
20:27is great for those of us who are so consumed with the what-ifs or who are so
20:31caught up with distractions that we try to control it all sometimes because of fear of rejection and abandonment
20:37sometimes because of fear of the things that have happened in the past if you've experienced abuse
20:42or you've lost someone will be easy to think i'll try to control and hold on because i don't want
20:46to
20:46ever feel that pain again i don't want anyone else to ever control me or abuse me or betray me
20:52so i'm
20:52going to control everything but we can't and controlling and holding on tighter is not going to
20:59ensure that we don't lose things and that's the hard part in life the same goes with death
21:03we can try to cling to life right and fight and it's good to fight sometimes it's good to cherish
21:08life but if we hold on so tight we're suffocating the life out of what we do hold right that
21:13life
21:14we've been given we're clinging to it so hard that we're missing the point of life we're not living
21:18we're suffocating it because we're trying to hold on so strongly and then it says if you believe in a
21:23higher power then let it take care of things you only have to believe in it that will give you
21:27the
21:28ultimate satisfaction so just swirl and let the worries go away that's the interpretation
21:33and some of these thoughts on the lyrics from that article it's just a beautiful beautiful song
21:39and you know i could see this resonating with everyone differently those who say i don't believe
21:42in a higher power i'm in charge of my own fate i got to do my part and there's validity
21:46to taking
21:47ownership as mentioned setting goals working hard not just sitting and waiting there are those who need
21:51that kick in the butt sometimes that fire to say make plans don't just sit here and wait for the
21:56stars to align right people waste their lives going i don't know what the will of god is and
22:00waiting for a sign and it's like listen god has been sending rescue boats left and right it was
22:06just not the way it just didn't look the way you thought as that story goes with the man drowning
22:10right and the firefighters come by and the life rescue boat and this person keeps saying no no no
22:15i'm okay god will rescue me the person dies and asks god i thought you would rescue me and god
22:20said
22:20well i've sent you know the fire department and i sent the rescue boat and i sent the fishermen
22:25but we had this idea of what his rescue and what hope and life looks like so there are those
22:30who
22:31just sit there and wait and they need to be told get up do something right take some ownership of
22:36the
22:36things you want to accomplish but then there also are many who are so restless be striving and and and
22:42chasing after things trying to control that all that it's a good reminder to say let it go release
22:48dance i just to me that was very therapeutic i hope it inspired you too what did you think let
22:53me know in
22:54the comments below and i will see you on the next ride
22:57hey yo
