00:01Well good morning and good afternoon wherever you are from the International
00:05Space Station on behalf of all of Expedition 73 we are thrilled to have
00:10you join us today for two very special ceremonies here on board. The first thing
00:15we're going to do is start off with a farewell from our crew crew 10 who will
00:20be departing here shortly from the space station at the completion of our mission
00:23and then we'll hand over to the ISS commander currently Takuyo Nishi who
00:29will initiate the change of command ceremony for ISS command to Sergei
00:33Ryukov so to start off crew 10 wanted to say farewell to everybody and as we
00:41complete our mission on space station we really want to lead with gratitude for
00:46the absolute privilege of getting to live and work aboard this amazing
00:50International Space Station all of us are keenly aware that we may never get to
00:54do this again and we've been very pensive over the last days of
00:59understanding what we have all got to be a part of and we know that there's some
01:03tumultuous times on earth and there's some people that are going through
01:07struggles all over all around and we want this mission our mission to be a
01:13reminder of what people can do when we work together when we explore together the
01:20foundations of this mission were laid long before any of us got here this is a
01:25short snapshot in time today in our mission but the International Space Station
01:30this international mission that has been going on for almost 25 years was made
01:35possible by visionaries who years before believed in something this massive I
01:42truly believe that this is one of the biggest feats of cooperation that humans
01:47have ever accomplished it takes people from every country all around the world
01:51every single day showing up to support this mission to make it happen and really
01:56we just get to be we had the privilege of getting to be here for a short period of
02:00that time but if we think back to 40 years ago when this idea was conceived and
02:05the international partnerships started to come together the atmosphere and the
02:11climate politically was very similar to what it is now it there's a lot of
02:15people that would say that's not going to be possible but all it took was
02:19visionaries from all around the world to work together to have a mustard seed of
02:23faith that something like this could be done when we work together crew 10 has had
02:30the absolute privilege of working here for the last four months and we have so
02:33much gratitude for all of the ground teams that showed up every day to make this
02:37possible we truly are very humbled to wreck it to represent humanity and we
02:45hope that we can be a reminder to others of the goodness and humanity and what we
02:50really can accomplish when we work together so for all my friends and family
02:57purse on a personal note friends and family I will see you soon without your
03:02support I could never do this every single day so thank you very much and we'll
03:06see you back soon on the greatest planet in the solar system we've checked we'll
03:11go back to earth here shortly I'm going to pass it off to crew 10 pilot Nicole Ayers
03:22thanks Anne for those wonderful words I think as we leave the International
03:26Space Station I'm reflecting with a heart full of gratitude I think that it's
03:33been an amazing experience I'm grateful for the the ground team that put together
03:39this beautiful place that we call home without all of the flight controllers on
03:44the ground and the massive support system that we have across the entire world this
03:49place would not stay in orbit and so thank you to the ground teams all over the
03:53world for everything you do grateful to our 73s crewmates you guys made it a blast up
03:59here we've had a wonderful time with you and looking forward to seeing what the
04:03rest of what you accomplished during expedition 73 grateful that crew 11 is here

04:25of really amazing operational things we got to see some amazing views and we have
04:30had some really big belly laughs and a wonderful time together so yeah like I said I think that
04:36leaving with a heart full of gratitude and excited to see where the International Space Station goes
04:41after we get home same as Ann on a personal note grateful for all of my friends and family I
04:48wouldn't be here without your support none of us would be so thank you to everybody at home and yeah
04:55we'll see you soon and I'll pass it off to our mission specialist Kirill Pesco I'd like to say thank
05:03you to the
05:03crew for this wonderful time it was a pleasure staying here and it is a pleasure staying here working
05:09together and spending time together and with that I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the
05:19ground specialists all the workers engineers and scientists all over the world who made this flight
05:26possible not only this one but all the space flights without them we won't be here and I wish that
05:34it will
05:35continue this way for long long time thank you
05:44yeah
05:46такое подсказываю что по-русски тоже было бы неплохо пару слов сказать
05:50ну скажу то же самое очень рад провести здесь это чудесное время с такими чудесными людьми
05:58Thank you very much for all of your employees, starting from the workers and the instructors, those who made this
06:09flight possible.
06:10Thank you very much for your work and for the fact that you are doing such great and great things
06:20like these flights and all the following.
06:30So as I mentioned, as Ann mentioned, this is a combination of farewell and also the change of command ceremony.
06:38So my speech might be a little bit longer than the other folks and it is hard to believe that
06:47it is time for us to go home.
06:49And it's a bittersweet moment to say goodbye to the rest of Expedition 73.
06:54And it's been a great time with my crewmates and also working with highly professional teams on the ground.
07:04I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the agencies, flight controllers and instructors and all the other folks
07:13on the ground who support ISS mission.
07:15And I would especially like to recognize our lead Houston flight director, Nicole McElroy, who demonstrated her excellent leadership.
07:30And she made our mission so productive, despite some changes in the incremental traffic plan.
07:37So, Nicole, thank you so much for your dedication to our increment.
07:43And I am also very thankful to my crewmates for making my days here joyful.
07:52Anna, you did a great job in leading USEVA 93 and facilitating the action for mission.
08:00And those two events are the highlights of the first half of Expedition 73.
08:07And Nicole, your enthusiasm has had a very positive effect on all of us and on the mission.
08:18And Kirill, having a crew member who has a great sense of humor like you means a lot.
08:25So, you are such a delightful person.
08:29And Johnny, you are one of the most diligent people I have ever met.
08:34So, I have 100% trust in you as the next US segment lead.
08:40And Alexei, it was always my pleasure to talk with you.
08:46You are always smiling and you are always joking.
08:50So, I love to spend time with you.
08:52So, thank you so much for your friendship.
08:54And Sergei, as the segment leads, we talked a lot and always helped each other.
09:02So, without your help, it would have been much more challenging to be the commander of the ISS.
09:10So, thank you very much.
09:12And Zina, Mike, and Kimia, Oleg, I wish we could spend more time together.
09:19But you are in good hands.
09:21So, I'm sure the second half of Expedition 73 will be even better.
09:28And there are so many things we have, we don't have here.
09:33But there are so many things we can only get here.
09:38And the time I spend with you guys is definitely one of those things.
09:44So, I really appreciate it.
09:46And the crew 10 is now leaving.
09:49But the science will continue here.
09:51Because this place is the outpost for human beings to advance our technology and to explore further.
10:00So, now I am very happy to hand over the command of the ISS to you, Sergei.
10:35Dear friends.
10:36Dear colleagues, taking responsibility for station commanding.
10:44I am full of expression.
10:48And I would like to note that our Expedition 73 took place on an anniversary year.
11:00We together celebrated 50th anniversary of first joint international space flight, Apollo-Soyuz, and first handshake in space.
11:13We are going to celebrate 25th anniversary of international space station flight in man boat.
11:22And history shows that in our beautiful planet, people unfortunately cannot understand each other any time.
11:39But in space, we can cooperate effectively.
11:43And so, thank you everybody for this nice four months together.
11:55And wish you have a safe trip home.
12:02And I would like to say that we will continue the program.
12:08We will do it as productive and fun and safe as possible.
12:18And have a safe trip.
12:21Expedition 73.
12:23Go forward.
12:24Godspeed.
12:36For the next 16th anniversary of the ship.
12:39For the next 16th anniversary of the ship, my friends and colleagues.
12:56We are going to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the International Cosmetic Station in the pilot mode.
13:08Unfortunately, people on Earth can't often understand each other.
13:14But 50 years of history shows that our cooperation in cosmos can be effective and productive.
13:26We thank our friends, who spent these amazing 4 months on orbit.
13:35We wish them a good return home.
13:37We try to make the remaining part of the expediation of the maximum effective, interesting and safe.
13:47We wish them a good return home.
