00:00And I just knew that for me that the time was right. I'd given absolutely everything that I could to
00:04this sport.
00:05You don't have to follow the same path that everyone else has done.
00:09And yeah, look, let's hope the next generation is as talented as Zaf.
00:19Enjoy every opportunity that I get, enjoy every occasion and take every moment for what it is.
00:23And I think I'm really lucky that I get to be able to experience things that I've always dreamt of.
00:29I love playing tennis. I love this sport.
00:31And it's created so many opportunities for me, and I'm really grateful for that.
00:35She made me proud from the first time I saw Ash.
00:38And she must have been about 13, and she was playing at the Australian Open.
00:42And we saw one whole point.
00:45She did the slice, the volley, the smash, everything in one game.
00:49And we both just looked at each other and said, oh, she's got it.
00:53She's going to be our next champion. So look at her now.
01:02I'm just trying to be me. I'm just trying to be who I can be.
01:05That's the only person I can be.
01:07And I think I just try and live by the values that my mum and dad instilled in me from
01:12a young age.
01:20After Wimbledon, my perspective changed a lot.
01:22And there was this beautiful challenge of trying to play the Australian Open
01:26and trying to win an Australian Open, which was always another goal of mine.
01:30And to do that as a team and to do that with the people that meant so much to me
01:34was incredible.
01:34So it was just, there is no perfect way, there is no perfect timing, but this was our perfect way.
01:40And it was a great finish.
