00:00That's the thing. You never want to do something for shock value. So that's the thing that Ross and I
00:04wanted to avoid. It always had to be, you know, if you're going to do something, there has to be
00:10a reason behind it that is much more meaningful than just shocking or surprising the audience. So that was sort
00:17of, that was how we approached it.
00:21I mean, you know, there's so much noise around the show and, you know, everyone wants different things, etc. So
00:30because the fan base is so large and the demographic is so spread that at the end of the day,
00:38you just can't really worry about it too much. You're going to drive yourself crazy.
00:42So it just, our approach is sort of to try as much to replicate how we wrote season one, which
00:51is just rely on each other and our instincts and rely on the other writers in terms of what feels
00:59right to us.
01:00And if Ross and I are happy with it and the other writers are happy with it, and then ultimately
01:05the actors are happy with it, we feel we've landed in a good place.
01:08And hopefully that resonates with the audience.
01:12I mean, you just, you explore every ride.
01:14I mean, you spend so many hours in the writer's room.
01:16So we probably explored every single possible version, right?
01:21And which is always fun.
01:23And you're like, what does this do to the show?
01:25What does this do to the other characters?
01:28What feels natural?
01:29What feels forced?
01:29I mean.
