00:09My topic is how we can reduce water pollution.
00:13As in, I have polluted water. How do we remove pollutants from that?
00:17So, I work with how we remove toxic dyes from the water.
00:21Toxic dyes, like methylene blue, methyl orange,
00:24which are different types of diet in the textile industry and in the medical industry.
00:28So, I use different types of agricultural waste.
00:33Like walnut, banana, orange, nariel.
00:41So, we heat it and activate it so that it will become an absorbent.
00:47When we put it in polluted water, it will soak the pollutants.
00:51So, how do you heat it and activate it?
00:54So, we use Muffle Furnace, which is a device in which it will be heating in oxygen limited conditions.
01:01So, we can use it in gel.
01:02And then, we can activate it.
01:03We can use acid, bases or any activation compound.
01:09And then, after that, when we use polluted water, like this, which is dye.
01:15When we put it in dye, we can see that as we increase the weight of the biochar,
01:22it will be less pollution.
01:23So, it will be less degrade.
01:24So, what can we do in the dye?
01:26So, we can see that as we put 20 mg of biochar in our dye,
01:30and in 40 minutes, it will be totally degrade.
01:33So, we will put it in preliminary.
01:35It is a problem in our lab,
01:38this is a experiment in a controlled environment.
01:40and in real world we can treat waste water in general in general.
01:46What can it do in the process?
01:48In the process, we know that water pollution is already a big issue
01:53where heavy metals, dyes, these are very toxic in water
01:58which we can prevent humans and plant animals.
02:02And in biocharges we are utilizing waste products
02:06and we don't have any new product.
02:08We use waste products that are going to be in the dustbin
02:10and we don't just use solid waste, but also clean the liquid waste.
