00:00I have been scammed. Luckily, it was sorted out before it got to unmanageable levels and all money's refunded, etc.
00:10So, but yeah, I think they are on the rise. The amount of calls I get, or emails, phishing all
00:16the time. So, yeah, it's just getting ridiculous.
00:19There's a lot of people getting scammed. I know a few people who have received phone calls or have received
00:27emails.
00:28I know a particular person who has actually been scammed and one who nearly got scammed before giving their details
00:36out.
00:36They actually, you know, spoke to somebody and they were stopped to do it. So, yeah, there's a lot of
00:42that going on.
00:43I think a lot of that is tied in with unemployment as well. If they're saying you're winning something or
00:49you'll be getting this money or something,
00:50it's kind of like trapping people. And a lot of elderly, unfortunately, are targeted, which is really sad.
00:56But I think the level of scams are getting increasingly, increasingly difficult to spot.
01:02You know, we do lots of training around phishing and things like that. And it is really, it's been really
01:09hard to sometimes like find an email and actually know it's genuine or not.
01:12I get numerous emails throughout the day, just random things. And I think obviously because of the kind of situation
01:20that we're currently in, financial situation of people,
01:22there will be an increase in it. But I don't know anybody personally infected, no. But I think it's going
01:28to get worse, to be honest, if anything.
