00:04I want to see things like reproductive rights and women's health be taken seriously by the
00:11Catholic Church. I want to see climate change be taken seriously by the Catholic Church. I
00:17want to see the victims of the Catholic Church sex scandal be repaired. I want justice for them.
00:27So I will make that plea to our current Pope, but I do believe this is a man who's sincere
00:34about his fidelity to the principles of Christ and Christ's teachings. And I think he's been very
00:45courageous about those principles on the world stage in the face of a violent, unjust war.
00:55And the attacks that he's sustaining from the religious right in the United States, who
01:01call themselves Catholics, attacking the vicar of Christ and trying to school him on theology.
01:14He's standing solidly in his place as a Pope, as a religious leader in the 21st century. And I
01:22appreciate that about him.
