00:00Mitch Winehouse has lost a High Court case over the auction of dozens of belongings linked
00:05to his daughter, Amy.
00:07He brought the claim against Amy Winehouse's friends, Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay,
00:12accusing them of profiting from items sold at auctions in the United States.
00:18Lawyers said the items were deliberately concealed and that he turned to legal action as his only
00:24means of obtaining answers.
00:25A Deputy High Court judge ruled against him, saying he could have discovered the disputed
00:30items with reasonable diligence.
00:32The judge said he was sensitive about exploitation concerns.
00:37Parry said,
00:37My focus is on rebuilding my life and protecting my name, the work I created with Amy and her
00:43legacy.
