Vice President JD Vance's trip to Pakistan for talks with Iran on hold, official says

The US delegation led by Vance was expected to leave from Washington for Islamabad on Tuesday, which had hosted a first unsuccessful round of talks earlier this month.

01:22its closure of the Strategic Strait of Hormuz, from which 20% of the world's oil exports
01:28pass, as well as other crucial items like gas and fertilizer.
01:32The U.S. President claimed that Iran is suffering losses of $500 million per day due to the
01:38blockade, boasting that they can't sustain it for long.
01:42Iran has, however, warned that it's prepared for all scenarios, promising new surprises
01:46on the battlefield if war resumes.
