00:00The Four Undang of Negeri Sembilan have disputed a claim by Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun,
00:06that the Dewan Keadilan dan Undang, or DKU, had advised the removal of the Undang of Sungai Ujong, Datuk Mubarak
00:14Dohak.
00:15In a joint statement issued on Tuesday, the Four Undang said the claim was untrue
00:19and did not reflect what took place during a special DKU session.
00:24They stated that members present did not reach a collective or unanimous decision on the matter,
00:30adding that the Menteri Besar's statement was not in accordance with the laws of the Constitution of Negeri Sembilan, 1959.
00:37The Four, Undang Jelebu Datuk Marof Mat Rashad, Undang Johol Datuk Muhammad Abdullah,
00:44Undang Rembau Datuk Abdul Rahim Yassin, and Mubarak himself, also said they did not agree to the removal.
00:51They further called for Aminuddin to be replaced, saying he is no longer fit to lead the state administration.
00:57The group also voiced support for a declaration made on April 19th to depose the 11th Yang Di Pertuan Besar
01:04of Negeri Sembilan and install a new ruler.
01:08Earlier, on April 17th, Aminuddin's office said the DKU had advised the Luwak of Sungai Ujong to accept Mubarak's removal,
01:17following a meeting chaired by Yang Di Pertuan Besar, Tuanku Muhriz.
01:22According to Aminuddin, 33 reasons were presented during the session to justify the removal,
01:28which he said was carried out in line with Article 14.3 of the state constitution.
01:33However, in a later statement on April 20th, Aminuddin said the state government would not recognize a declaration by Mubarak
01:40seeking to remove Tuanku Muhriz, as Mubarak had already been stripped of his position.
01:46He added that Mubarak's removal was due to multiple alleged breaches of tradition and customary law.
