Becket Redfellow has the whole package. Wit. Style. Charisma. The one thing he doesn’t have, at least not officially, is the billion-dollar inheritance he’s been promised. According to his mother, it was supposed to be his from the day he was born. The snag? Mary, once the heir to the Redfellow empire, was cut off at Beckett’s birth by the family that mattered. She ends up dying broke.

So now Beckett, dressed for success and motivated by a very specific kind of entitlement, decides he’s getting what he believes was stolen. No gentle negotiations. No “let’s talk about fairness.” Just a determined campaign to reclaim the fortune, with relatives treated less like people and more like obstacles in his way. Dry, tense, and a little ridiculous in the best way.

A good pick if you want inheritance drama that shows you the receipts.

Becket Redfellow wirkt wie der Typ, der mit einem Lächeln Probleme bestellt. Stil, Witz, Bildung. Alles da. Nicht mit höflichem Erbdeutsch, sondern mit diesem unerschütterlichen „Ich nehme mir das“-Eifer, bei dem Verwandte plötzlich wie Hindernisse behandelt werden. Klingt nach Rache. Schmeckt aber mehr nach Gaunerei mit Anzug.
