Five years after the Clarke comet strike, John, Allison, and their son Nathan are still hiding in the Greenland bunker that saved them. Trouble is, “safe” doesn’t mean “clean.” The air and water are contaminated, radiation storms keep blasting the surface, and space junk from the comet is still up there, plotting its next drop. Then the bunker finally gives up. A major quake wipes out their base, and now they have to do the thing nobody wants to do in an apocalypse: hit the road. Across a wrecked, frozen Europe they go, chasing the only place that looks remotely survivable. Surprise. It’s the huge Clarke-comet crater in southern France. Greenland 2 is end-times action with a family bond that keeps getting tested, usually at gunpoint-adjacent speeds.

Fünf Jahre nach dem Clarke-Kometen ist das “Leben gerettet” in Grönland leider kein Wellness-Programm. John, Allison und ihr Sohn Nathan hängen immer noch im Bunker fest, der sie damals über Wasser gehalten hat. Also geht’s quer durch ein verwüstetes, eisiges Europa Richtung Süden, zum einzig halbwegs verlässlichen Ziel: dem gigantischen Krater des Clarke-Kometen in Südfrankreich. Endzeit-Action mit Familienstress. Weniger Hoffnung, mehr Notfallplan.
