00:10Welcome, everyone, to the 2026 British Columbia UConn Spring Virtual Performance Series Finale.
00:18We are thrilled to present 48 outstanding performances from across British Columbia,
00:23from small-town rinks to big city arenas,
00:27all coming together to celebrate the beauty and artistry of figure skating.
00:32This is what the season has been building toward, and we are so glad you're here to share it with
00:37us.
00:38We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are gathered, whether in person or virtually,
00:44on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples,
00:49including the Musqueam, the Squamish, and the Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
00:54We extend our respect to the elders, knowledge keepers, and all indigenous peoples,
01:00past, present, and future, whose deep connection to this land continues to this day.
01:05As we celebrate the talents of skaters from every corner of British Columbia,
01:10we are grateful to honor and recognize the many indigenous communities whose territories our athletes call home.
