Iraq is still very much a country in chaos. But slowly,many things are beginning to return to normal,as coalition troops gradually withdraw.Germany has traditionally had good trade relations with Iraq,and the ”Iraq-Horizons 2015” program seeks to take up that thread. Supported by German institutions,the program sponsors internships for 18 young Iraqis in German companies. It is hoped they will take new ideas home with them to stimulate the country’s economy.
