New Taipei’s Danjiang Bridge opened to the public for a special pedestrian preview on Friday. Spanning the Tamsui River, the landmark bridge will save commuters up to 25 minutes in travel time. The structure is world’s longest single-tower asymmetric cable-stayed bridge, measuring 920 meters in length. It will open to vehicle traffic on May 12.
