00:00Bringing together 49 countries around a very simple message and proposition
00:05that the world needs the Strait of Hormuz fully open
00:09because that is how we keep prices down for our people
00:12and stop the global economic damage.
00:15So we've all agreed there was real unity in the meeting that we've just had.
00:20We want to see a return to talks and a lasting agreement
00:24including the reopening of the Strait.
00:27We welcome the announcement that was made during our meeting
00:32but we need to make sure that that is both lasting and a workable proposal
00:38and if anything it reinforces the need for the work that we've been doing this afternoon
00:43because we're very clear that the mission that we're putting together
00:47is a defensive mission that comes after a ceasefire.
00:53So that's why we brought the international group together
00:56to indicate how we will play our part.
