„Baramulla“ starts like a missing-kids investigation and then just… refuses to stay grounded. A police officer working the case thinks he’s chasing leads. Instead, he keeps stumbling into truths that feel less like clues and more like someone ripping the back cover off reality. The city of Baramulla wants to be calm. His family does too. But supernatural stuff keeps pushing the story off the rails, one unsettling discovery at a time. The result is a thriller-horror hybrid where the tension comes from how quickly private fear turns public horror. No grand speeches. Just mounting dread, bad timing, and a cop realizing he can’t solve this one with procedure alone. Rating says 7.0, but honestly the movie earns it.

„Baramulla“ nimmt Kindesentführungen ernst. Und das merkt man ziemlich schnell. Ein Polizist gräbt Fälle durch, die eigentlich schon genug Albtraum sind. Nur leider hört die Realität irgendwann auf, mitzuspielen. Plötzlich kippt die Geschichte ins Übernatürliche, und aus „wir finden die Kinder“ wird „warum lässt sich diese Stadt überhaupt so lange gehen?“ Während er Spuren verfolgt, wird seine Familie zur zweiten Baustelle des Grauens. Ruhige Momente gibt es, aber eher als kleine Pausen, damit du zwischendurch wieder Luft holen kannst. Überraschend atmosphärisch, mit dem Gefühl, dass hier jemand bewusst an der Grenze zwischen Ermittlungsdrama und Horror schrammt. Wenn du Mystery magst, die nicht nett verpackt ist, schau rein.
