00:00While the ceasefire may be in place, the Strait of Hormuz is crucially important to all of us,
00:05and there have been suggestions floating around that part of the resolution to this could be from tolling,
00:10either by Iran or by a group of countries, putting a price on the Strait of Hormuz.
00:16Let me be clear how strongly we oppose this suggestion,
00:20how it would continue to undermine regional and global security,
00:24because what would stop the Houthis threatening the same on Bal al-Mandab,
00:28and how it also undermines our global economic security,
00:32because it would put at risk the maritime principles that both of our countries have championed for many generations,
00:39the very principles that led to the law of the sea, the transit routes between the high seas,
00:44not being for any one nation to hold in peril.
00:47Monetising geography undermines the principle of free trade and international law,
00:52and I say it as one of the countries responsible for the Straits of Dover,
00:55a crucial part of Germany's trading routes,
01:00the busiest shipping lane in the world,
01:04busier than the Suez Canal and the Strait of Hormuz put together,
01:08and we, who are responsible for the Straits of Dover,
01:13we champion unconditionally the principle of freedom of navigation and freedom of trade.
01:21We can help солнце αυτ影片 be there indeed.
01:23I'll definitely see your especie,
01:23if the people of the world do natural things,
01:25mies嘛,
01:25just let's do it.
