00:10A new opportunity for the field. Bavaria announced a convocation to join 1,000 farmers
00:15to their program Siembra Bavaria.
00:24This program, which began in the departments of Boyacá and Cundinamarca, now comes to Nariño,
00:29a key territory for the planting of the cebada thanks to its agroclimatic diversity and the
00:34vocation of its people.
00:39Since 2017, this initiative has completed 800 families who have been beneficiadas with
00:44technical training, specialized access to machinery, certified insurance, and financing.
00:50And now, with the new convocation, it seeks to join more than 1,000 farmers in the three
00:54departments of the country, and so ensure a sustainable supply of this cereal for the
00:59process of the company.
01:01We have more than 10 years apostating to this project.
01:05We already have a design and a sample of seeds that are in the Finca La Irak, in front of
01:10the plant of Duitama.
01:11This is for farmers, this is for society, this is for the people who every day
01:16has madruga to build a country, so personally, I am very proud and very happy to participate
01:21in this project and as Bavaria, it is a real dream to have a cebada local.
01:27In line with the commitment to strengthen the agro-colombian, the government of Boyacá,
01:31in the team with the Ministry of Agriculture and Bavaria, announced that they will build
01:35the first plant of the cebada in Paipa.
01:38Today, there is a light for farmers, especially in Boyacá, in Cundinamarca and in Nariño.
01:47Bavaria has been doing a job responsible, making that farmers come back to believe in a
01:54millenarian cultivating.
01:56For us, Siembra Bavaria represents, also, in addition to the government's programs, a
02:02program of great impact for the lives of the farmers, because it directly affects the
02:07well-being, the quality of life and the economy of the Unidad Agrícola Familiar in the
02:12Department of Boyacá.
02:17As a gift to the farmers, Bavaria organiza a event in its research and development in Tivasosa.
02:25In this place, the company has worked for years to share knowledge with the producers and
02:30generate new alliances in benefit of the camp.
