00:25On 18th December 2015, Dilwale & Bajirao Mastani box office per tkra gai.
00:30This wasn't just a clash.
00:31It was Shah Rukh's Mass Cinema vs Sanjay Lila Bansali's Magnum Opus.
00:35One side was Dilwale,
00:36which was Bollywood's OG romantic jodi Shah Rukh & Kajol's reunion.
00:40The film was Rohit Shattiki,
00:42and in the 7th were Varun Dhawan & Kriti Senan.
00:44Full mass appeal.

00:57Word of mouth flipped the game and Bajirao kept growing,
01:00while Dilwale dropped sharply.
01:01Bajirao Mastani turned out to be a winner.
01:04Not by opening, but definitely by respect, longevity and legacy.
01:082. Raees vs Kabil
01:09This was the one clash that got personal.
01:112017 gave us Raees, where SRK was playing a gangster,
01:15and Kabil, which was Hrithik's revenge drama.
01:17Rakesh Roshan openly accused Raees of unfair screen-grabbing
01:20and bullying smaller films.
01:22PR statements flew, media took sides,
01:24but at the box office, Raees earned more.
01:26But Kabil earned sympathy and performance praise.
01:29While Raees won this clash in terms of box office collection,
01:32both the films ended up losing as both were considered flops,
01:35and the controversy damaged everyone involved.
01:383. Japtakai Jaan vs Son of Sardar
01:40This was a war box office clash that became a legal war,
01:43and this was one of Bollywood's ugliest clashes ever.
01:46In 2012 came Japtakai Jaan, Yashupra's final film with SRK,
01:50and it was also highly anticipated as the legendary filmmaker Yashupra
01:54passed away just a few days before the release.
01:56And in front of his son of Sardar, Ajay Devgan's mass entertainer
02:00with Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt.
02:02Ajay Devgan went to court over screen allocation.
02:04The clash became a headline news.
02:06Both films owned well,
02:07but emotionally the audience leaned toward SRK,
02:10because this was Yashupra's farewell.
02:12This clash was won by SRK by both goodwill and emotions.
02:154. Om Shanti Om vs Sawarya
02:18In 2007, before Dilwale vs Baji Rao,
02:21there was one more time where Shah Rukh Khan clashed with Sanjay Leela Bansali.
02:25In Diwali 2007, SRK came with Om Shanti Om,
02:28produced by his own production house, directed by Farah Khan,
02:31and it had cameos from almost entire Bollywood.
02:34And this film launched Tipika Padukon.
02:36And on the other hand, Sanjay Leela Bansali was with two newcomers,
02:39Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor,
02:41whose debut films were Rani Mukherjee and Salman Khan.
02:44This was the clash between mass cinema vs artistic ambition.
02:48And the result was that Om Shanti Om became a blockbuster
02:51and a huge pop culture moment,
02:52and Sawarya collapsed at the box office.
02:54Om Shanti Om emerged as the winner
02:56and also SRK's biggest dominations.
02:595. Don Vs Jaan Eman in 2006
03:01Shah Rukh and Salman's Cold War era
03:03was a clash of off-screen which also had tension.
03:06In Don, SRK has made Amitabh Bachchan's classic film
03:09and with Priyanka Chopra.
03:11So, Jaan Eman, Salman Khan,
03:13there were Akshay and Priyanka.
03:15The film was very massive,
03:16but Don was not only a better opening,
03:19but the box office was more and more.
03:21And his legacy was better.
03:22In clash, Don was a clear winner,
03:24and Jaan Eman unfortunately flopped.
03:276.

03:43Or jaisa ki sabko laga tha,
03:44doonho film etwas super hit rahi.
03:45But kuch kuch hota hai,
03:47changed how bollywood romance was written.
03:48So here, the winner was kuch kuch hota hai
03:50because of its cultural impact.
03:52Number 7. Mohabbate vs. Mission Kashmir
03:54In the year 2000, one side were Shah Rukh Aishwarya and Amitabh Bachchan directed by Aditya Chopra
03:59and on the other side were Ritik Roshan, Sanjay Daitwar, Preeti Zinta directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
04:04Here, Mohabbate was clear winner, both by box office collection as well as cultural impact.
04:09Number 8. Veer Zahra vs. Aitraaz
04:11When 2004 diwali, Takra Gaya Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar

04:19and Aitraaz was a film with bold treatment starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.
04:24The film had a fire chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra.
04:28Veer Zahra became timeless. Aitraaz stayed memorable but secondary.
04:32Veer Zahra was the clear winner.
04:34Shah Rukh Khan didn't always win every clash but he always defined the conversation
04:38and in Bollywood, that matters more than the box office collection itself.
