00:00...historical opportunity, we understand we're working against decades of history and complexities that have led us to this moment, and
00:07the opportunity here, I know some of you were shouting questions about ceasefires, this is a lot more than just
00:11about that, this is about bringing a permanent end to 20 or 30 years of Hezbollah's influence in this part
00:18of the world, and not just the damage that's inflicted on this, but the damage that's inflicted on the Lebanese
00:24people.
00:24We have to remember the Lebanese people are victims of justice, the Lebanese people are victims of Iranian aggression, and
00:31this needs to stop, and so our hope here, and I know this will be a process, all of the
00:36complexities of this matter are not going to be resolved in the next six hours, but we can begin to
00:40move forward and create the framework where something can happen, something very positive, something very permanent, so that the people
00:46of Lebanon can have the kind of future they deserve, and so that the people of Israel can live without
00:51fear and be struck by rocket attacks.
00:54from the terrorist proxy of Iran, so that is the hope here today, that is what we are beginning to
00:59work, we are joined by excellent people who will be in a condition to obviously take this back to their
01:05respective capitals, this is a process, not an event, this is more than just one day, this will take time,
01:10but we believe it is worth this endeavor, and it's a historic gathering that we hope to build on,
01:15and the hope today is that we can outline the framework upon which a permanent and lasting peace can be
01:21developed, so that, as I said, the people of Israel can live in peace, and the people of Lebanon can
01:26live not just in peace, but the prosperity and the security of the day is early, okay?
01:30can we just nietzsche during yers?
