The finish line's coming up. "Deserted Palace" is the third single from EP.I "Years of Youth".
The idea behind the title was to make it feel like flying. On this track, the drop is more reminiscent of progressive house hovering.
Although I can play the violin, at the time of composition I didn't have a microphone to record myself. So the sound of the violin in pizz comes from a VST. I could have changed it but I liked the idea of using an automatic arpeggiator to play an acoustic sound. As a kind of hybridization between acoustic and digital.

My track doesn't necessarily take up Jarre's sounds, but it's a track I composed during the writing of my dissertation on Jean-Michel Jarre's album Oxygène.
