00:00But the fact that we saw Marco Rubio in Hungary, we saw Donald Trump also endorsing Viktor Orban,
00:07then we saw J.D. Vance in Hungary, and Viktor Orban still lost the election.
00:12This has got to be a blow for MAGA and, of course, for Russia.
00:17I'll take a very difficult challenge. I'll take the challenge of trying to defend Viktor Orban
00:23a little bit. I know it's not the taste of the moment, but I believe this fact that Viktor Orban
00:33lost,
00:33it is one argument down that this breed of national right is autocratic and will never lose once it's in
00:45power.
00:46Second, this is a small country, maybe some would say marginal within the bigger picture of Europe.
00:52But it's still influential when it comes to the EU and vetoing situations.
00:58It has been the veto power inside Europe for the last years. And Viktor Orban has left a very stable
01:05country, a very safe country. You know, these are things that resonate within the psychology of
01:11people in Europe. I mean, when people look at this country, they look at a nice country that
01:16represents European so-called values, European scenery, social scenery, and mostly a safe place.
01:24And this is also attributed to this man who is a right-wing. Now, having said this, Viktor Orban has
01:30been there in power for 16 years. And so you can only expect some kind of change. And as you
01:36mentioned,
01:37the person who came instead of him is also a right-winger. But let's say this is the one night
01:43that was
01:43equally bad for Trump and Putin. And this is the one night where at the end of the night, people
01:49were chanting against Putin, not against Viktor Orban. So what we take from it in this continent,
01:55the beautiful old European continent that I personally love, that is searching for its way forward
02:02in a world without America, in a world where it is not anymore considered as a power within emerging
02:08China and, you know, very, you know, powerful America. This continent is trying to find itself.
02:14What I would suspect is that the ultra-right parties who are growing everywhere in France,
02:22they might be winning very soon. In Germany, they might be, I mean, some kind of win. I believe those
02:29will be more inclined into being less aligned with Russia and more into, you know, their national rhetoric
02:35that they believe they can win. Because Orban mostly lost on his geopolitical alignment,
02:41not on his internal achievements.
