00:00So, I would like to say that today Europe is Hungarian, without any question.
00:05The people of Hungary have spoken and they have reclaimed their European path.
00:11It is a victory for fundamental freedoms.
00:16And I really want to say to the Hungarian people, you've done it again, against all odds,
00:22like you did in 1956, when you courageously stood up,
00:27like you did it in 1989, when you were the first to cut the barbed wire that was dividing our
00:35continent.
00:36So, with this result, our union is stronger, our union is more united.
00:41It was an exceptional evening yesterday.
00:45Of course, we will start working with the government as soon as possible
00:49on the topics you mentioned and much more, to make a swift and overdue progress
00:56to the benefit of the Hungarian people.
00:59There's much work to be done, as Hungary is coming back to the European path.
01:05But I think we should also look at the lessons learned inside the European Union.
01:12For example, I think moving to qualified majority voting in foreign policy
01:19is an important way to avoid systematic blockages, as we've seen in the past.
01:26And we should use the momentum now, really, to move forward on that topic.
01:29But today, of course, is a day to celebrate.
01:34So, I want to recall what I once said in a speech.
01:38To the Hungarian people, we are one family.
01:41Your story is our story.
01:43Your future is our future.
01:45And we will work with you every step of the way.
01:48Thank you.
