00:00:00Thank you for listening.
00:01:00Boxing fans will remember Jackson as the champion that never was.
00:01:04He spent an unprecedented nine years in the world's elite top 10, but was never given
00:01:08a title shot and came to be known as the most popular non-champion in the history of the
00:01:14sport.
00:01:15Alonzo Medina, on the other hand, is young, brash, and exciting.
00:01:18He's defended his title seven times with all wins coming by knockout.
00:01:23Jackson was reported Monday as saying he's a child with a child's talent and a child's
00:01:29mind.
00:01:30No love lost between these two fighters, but the true love lies in the event itself.
00:01:35All proceeds will go to La Opportunidad, whose mission is to forge a new and improved alliance
00:01:40between the Hispanic community and otherwise, to promulgate education, the development of
00:01:45vocational skills among whites, blacks, and Hispanics, and to furnish legal support and understanding
00:01:50to the families of immigrants who find themselves here illegally.
00:01:54Reginald Sterling and his nonprofit team at La Opportunidad has brought national attention
00:01:59to the plight of the immigrant through events such as these.
00:02:02I spoke to Mr. Sterling yesterday about this fundraising event and the organization in general.
00:02:09Well, Gina, we're just so proud to be here promoting this event, raising countless dollars
00:02:13for a worthy cause.
00:02:15The both fighters have generously waived their salaries, so they'll be fighting for honor
00:02:20alone, honor for themselves and their competitive spirits, and, of course, our great cause here
00:02:27at La Opportunidad.
00:02:28I have walked these city streets alone.
00:02:36I have found no comfort out here on my own.
00:02:45So, where are you from?
00:02:47Uh, we're from Dallas.
00:02:50You here for the fight?
00:02:52I guess you could say that.
00:02:55You know, I hear Medina is very, how you say, is, uh, slick, but I hear also, uh,
00:03:03Donnie Jackson used to be good, but no, he's muy viejo, he's very old.
00:03:08Yeah, he's getting up there.
00:03:11All right.
00:03:13Mr. Dunson.
00:03:15Mr. Chucky Dunson.
00:03:17Welcome.
00:03:18Here we go.
00:03:20Número doce, number twelfth on the end.
00:03:22Thanks.
00:03:23Um, Sylvia.
00:03:26Maybe I'll see you at the fight.
00:03:28Probably will.
00:04:04Let's get work the jab.
00:04:08Hey, big guy.
00:04:09Don't leave in the gym.
00:04:10Gonna need it for Medina.
00:04:12Yep, that Freddy got his big money, kid.
00:04:14Big money.
00:04:16Whoa, see that?
00:04:17Can't get him anymore.
00:04:19He's getting too fast.
00:04:20He'll still get you, though.
00:04:21Oh, sorry about that.
00:04:22Hey, don't stay here, my friend.
00:04:24Hey, Jamie.
00:04:25Go get your gloves on.
00:04:27Let's get you warmed up.
00:04:33Good.
00:04:37Attaboy, attaboy.
00:04:38Snap that jab.
00:04:39Snap it.
00:04:45Good.
00:04:46Get your hip into it.
00:04:47Good, Jamie.
00:04:48Looking good.
00:04:49All right, all right.
00:04:50Good job.
00:04:53Hey, he's gonna be a pro one day.
00:04:55Oh, jeez.
00:04:56Don't wish that on him.
00:04:57Can I talk to you for a minute?
00:05:05They gave me 20 grand for training expenses.
00:05:07I want you to put 10 of it on me.
00:05:10Danny, keep the money.
00:05:13Danny, you ain't gonna win this fight.
00:05:15Look, Fred, it's worth the gamble, okay?
00:05:17I'm an eight to one underdog.
00:05:19The bet's only open for a knockout.
00:05:21Baby.
00:05:22If you're gonna bet, bet the other way.
00:05:25Bullshit.
00:05:27You know Medina can't knock me out.
00:05:29And I got the power.
00:05:31Danny, Danny, Danny.
00:05:33You're an old man in this game.
00:05:35Medina's young.
00:05:37Power only works if you can actually hit the other guy.
00:05:41I was against you for taking this fight, I say.
00:05:45Look, Freddy.
00:05:50I need the money, okay?
00:05:54I'm behind on child support payments.
00:05:57And they're gonna kick me out of my apartment.
00:06:00Dano, you made millions in the ring.
00:06:03What happened?
00:06:08You know, Freddy, time goes by.
00:06:14And good things don't happen.
00:06:23Keep the money, Danny.
00:06:33All right, son, you did good.
00:06:35Made me proud.
00:06:38Hey.
00:06:40Hey.
00:06:41We cool here, madam?
00:06:43Yes, yes, Freddy, of course, we're cool.
00:06:45But you know I'm gonna kick his ass, right?
00:06:47Trust me, Danny.
00:06:48My fondest wish.
00:06:50Dad?
00:06:51Yeah.
00:06:52What are they doing?
00:06:54Oh, they're just showing their faith, son.
00:06:56What's faith?
00:06:57Faith is like believing with all your heart
00:06:59in something that you really can't see.
00:07:02So say some.
00:07:05Don't you believe, Danny boy?
00:07:07Freddy, you know what I see?
00:07:09I see a woman whose country doesn't care about her.
00:07:11That's what I see.
00:07:12A woman who works maybe 12, 16 hours a day
00:07:15in constant fear of being deported.
00:07:17Probably doesn't even speak English
00:07:18and shares a house with three other families
00:07:20in constant fear of how she's gonna feed her kids.
00:07:23That's what I see.
00:07:24So you tell me what faith has gotten her.
00:07:31Not much.
00:07:33But it's all she has.
00:07:35See you tomorrow morning, my man.
00:07:39Yep.
00:07:41Let's go.
00:07:51Dad?
00:07:53Yeah?
00:07:54Why are we staying here?
00:07:56I thought you said they were putting us up at the Hilton.
00:07:59Um, well, it's safer here.
00:08:03How?
00:08:06Well, even though they're billing this fight as an exhibition,
00:08:09uh, bookies are still taking odds on a knockout.
00:08:11So whenever bookies are involved,
00:08:13you know, things can happen.
00:08:17You mean they might try to hurt you?
00:08:21Well, they could put something in the water,
00:08:23something in the food,
00:08:25something to weaken me.
00:08:27Anything is possible.
00:08:31Is that the reason you registered in a different name?
00:08:35Yeah, pretty good, huh?
00:08:37I went from, uh, Danny Jackson to Jackie Danson.
00:08:41Yeah.
00:08:42Yeah, cool.
00:08:45Dad?
00:08:45Dad?
00:08:47Yeah.
00:08:49I should call Mom.
00:08:52Yeah, do you have any, uh, time left on your card?
00:08:54No.
00:08:55Okay, well, I think they're,
00:08:58they're for sale in the office if you want to go get one.
00:09:01Okay.
00:09:02Just, uh, you know, don't get sidetracked, buddy.
00:09:04Pretty senoritas.
00:09:05Very funny.
00:09:09Hey, you know what?
00:09:10I'll go.
00:09:12Dad, I can go.
00:09:13No, I should go.
00:09:14I mean, I don't want anybody getting to me
00:09:17through getting to you.
00:09:19You know what I mean?
00:09:19I can go.
00:09:20I know.
00:09:20I just want you to lock the door.
00:09:23Stay in the room till I get back, okay?
00:09:25I...

00:22:03Let's go.
00:22:21Let's go.
00:22:22Let's go.
00:22:35Hey, amigo.
00:22:44This is Danny Jackson.
00:22:47Come on.
00:22:48I'm honored, senor.
00:22:50Big fan.
00:22:51Big fan.
00:22:51Come on, sit down.
00:23:00Lisa.
00:23:03Cervezas.
00:23:06Look, senores, what I'm going to tell you is the shit that can get you killed, huh?
00:23:12I'll take my chances.
00:23:18La Oportunidad, that so-called non-profit organization, it's corrupt, right?
00:23:25And that pendejo, Reginald Sterling.
00:23:28What he does, he pays familias and insiders huge salaries and then launders money through
00:23:36events promoted.
00:23:37Everybody's getting rich.
00:23:40Except very little money, actually, goes to the cause.
00:23:44The children.
00:23:46What about Garza?
00:23:48Garza?
00:23:49He's dirty up to his teeth.
00:23:53And so is the rest of the bodies for us.
00:24:00Do you think they have my boy?
00:24:04I would bet my life on it, senor.
00:24:06Why?
00:24:09I don't have any money.
00:24:12¿Cómo lo puedo decir?
00:24:14What?
00:24:15¿Qué es que decida?
00:24:16What?
00:24:18Look, senor, in the human trafficking, the international sex trade, also includes young
00:24:28boys.
00:24:33There's a market among the limp, wristy, ricos in Saudi Arabia.
00:24:42For young boys, they pay high dollar.
00:24:45They pay millions.
00:24:47Now, in this case, Sterling keeps the organization clean.
00:24:52He sells the kids to the Mexican nationals and disguises the trade.
00:24:59And, uh, they sell them to the Arabs.
00:25:15Amigo, listen to me.
00:25:17Every second counts.
00:25:21Once they take a kid, it's a matter of hours before he's gone.
00:25:26Forever.
00:25:41Can you read your hands, Reed?
00:25:44No.
00:25:45My hands are stuck-tied.
00:25:48Me, too.
00:25:50Can you see anything?
00:25:53Blindfolded.
00:25:55What's your name?
00:25:57Tara.
00:25:59I'm Jamie.
00:26:01Do you know why we're here?
00:26:04No idea.
00:26:05They took me out of my motel room.
00:26:07Me, too.
00:26:08From the Marriott.
00:26:11They took me from the Prairie Motel.
00:26:14I've never heard of that.
00:26:17Believe me, you wouldn't.
00:26:38I'm going to cut your hands free, Sojokani.
00:26:41But don't do anything stupid.
00:26:56Easy, pequeño.
00:27:01Get something to eat, and you're probably very thirsty.
00:27:17I'm thirsty.
00:27:19I need water.
00:27:24Tara, stop.
00:27:25Don't drink the water.
00:27:26Are you crazy?
00:27:27I'm thirsty.
00:27:29Don't drink the water.
00:27:30Why?
00:27:31The seal was broken.
00:27:34What do you mean?
00:27:35It could have been laced with poison.
00:27:37Or drugs.
00:27:38How do you know all that?
00:27:41My dad.
00:27:44Oh, my dad.
00:27:55Shots fired.
00:27:56Shots fired.
00:27:56Officer down.
00:27:57I say again.
00:27:58Officer down.
00:27:59We need backup at the Prairie Motel.
00:28:03Dammit.
00:28:04Dammit!
00:28:23Oh, jeez.
00:28:26I'm dead.
00:28:29Shot in the back.
00:28:32Of course, we'll rush ballistics, but it appears it wasn't extremely close range.
00:28:37A lot of blood.
00:28:39And we're out to the hospital now.
00:28:42Man, that dude was busted up from the neck up.
00:28:45A couple broken ribs to boot.
00:28:47Probably a club.
00:28:49Yeah.
00:28:50Maybe.
00:28:53Maybe not.
00:28:55What?
00:28:57Nothing.
00:28:58We checked motel registration.
00:29:00The room was registered to a Jackie Danson.
00:29:04Jackie Danson?
00:29:06Yeah.
00:29:08Did you run the plates on the truck out front?
00:29:10That should be coming in any minute.
00:29:12Good.
00:29:13Jackie Danson.
00:29:16Jackie Danson.
00:29:17Kind of sounds familiar.
00:29:18I just...
00:29:19Jack...
00:29:20Jackie...
00:29:22Jack...
00:29:22Jack Danson.
00:29:31Danny Jackson.
00:29:34Son of...
00:29:40Come outside with me.
00:29:41Damn it.
00:29:53Nice truck.
00:29:57Let's have a look here.
00:30:13Bingo.
00:30:17Hello, Mr. Jackson.
00:30:22Officer.
00:30:23Yes, sir.
00:30:23You're going to find this truck belongs to Danny Boy Jackson.
00:30:26No kidding.
00:30:27The fighter?
00:30:28I want you to put out an APB.
00:30:30Now.
00:30:31Be careful.
00:30:32He's dangerous.
00:30:34I have reason to believe he's harmed his own son.
00:30:37Right away, Captain.
00:30:45I'm going to town.
00:30:47What?
00:30:48We have nothing to cook.
00:30:50So try not to screw anything up while I'm away.
00:30:53Don't be gone long.
00:30:55Makes me nervous being here alone.
00:30:57Because of the foot.
00:30:59I can't buy a bottle.
00:31:11I can't buy a bottle.
00:31:12I've got to have water.
00:31:14I just have to.
00:31:15No, we can't.
00:31:16Why?
00:31:17Are we going to die of thirst or starvation?
00:31:20I have a plan.
00:31:21Just go with it.
00:31:26Hey.
00:31:27Let me out of here.
00:31:29I have rights.
00:31:31You have no right to keep me in here.
00:31:33Shut up in there.
00:31:34I'm trying to sleep.
00:31:36My father's an important man, and he's fighting Saturday.
00:31:39Let me go, and I'll keep my mouth shut.
00:31:46Enough.
00:31:47Go to sleep, boy.
00:31:49You hear me?
00:31:50You're fine.
00:31:54Bring me some more water and get me out of here.
00:31:57That's it.
00:31:58You're done messed up now.
00:32:13Derek, come on.
00:32:36Do you know how to drive?
00:32:37Of course I know how to drive.
00:32:38I'm 18 years old.
00:32:39Do it then.
00:32:40Okay.
00:32:55You know, they probably found the body in the hotel room by now.
00:32:58What do we do?
00:33:00I swear to God, buddy, I'm out of ideas.
00:33:07Yeah.
00:33:08Dad?
00:33:10Jamie?
00:33:11Jamie, are you okay?
00:33:12We finally got away.
00:33:13Jamie, where are you?
00:33:14I don't know exactly where we're driving.
00:33:17I think we're somewhere on the outturns of Gomez.
00:33:20All right.
00:33:20All right.
00:33:21Listen.
00:33:21Dad?
00:33:22Are you there?
00:33:23Hello?
00:33:23Jamie?
00:33:24Jamie!
00:33:26Shit!
00:33:27Can you call him back?
00:33:28No, it's a restricted number.
00:33:30At least you know he's all right.
00:33:34Yeah.
00:33:37All right, listen, Freddy.
00:33:38We've got to go back to your gym, okay?
00:33:39That's the only place he'd go.
00:33:41Three minutes away.
00:33:49So, your dad's Danny Boy Jackson?
00:33:52Yeah, why?
00:33:53He's the reason why we came to Gomez.
00:33:55To watch the fight.
00:33:56You and your parents?
00:33:58No.
00:33:59No, um, me and my fiancé.
00:34:04Why do you think they want us?
00:34:06I don't know.
00:34:08Um, does your dad have a lot of money?
00:34:12He used to.
00:34:13Maybe they think he still does.
00:34:15What about you?
00:34:17No.
00:34:18My fiancé does okay, and I don't know.
00:34:22No, not really.
00:34:35What do you do, man?
00:34:40Amigo!
00:34:42Todo está bien.
00:34:45It's all good.
00:34:47How can I help you, Capitan?
00:34:49Did, uh, Danny Jackson come in and train today?
00:34:53Yeah.
00:34:54Yeah, this morning.
00:34:56Got through about 11, I guess.
00:34:58Uh-huh.
00:35:00Why do you ask?
00:35:02Um, nothing really.
00:35:06It's just that he's missed a couple of press conferences, and he's not checked in at the Hilton.
00:35:12You know, where the other fighters are staying.
00:35:15Well, you know Danny boy.
00:35:17Marches to the beat of his own drum.
00:35:19Huh.
00:35:19Yeah.
00:35:21When's he supposed to train again?
00:35:23He's got 9 a.m. booked all week till the fight.
00:35:26That's good.
00:35:28I gotta come back and check him out.
00:35:29Yeah.
00:35:35He was a hell of a fighter, wasn't he?
00:35:37Huh.
00:35:39Wow.
00:35:42It's too bad we gotta get old.
00:35:45That's the truth.
00:35:51You and Danny were, uh, good friends back in the day, right?
00:35:57Oh, we used to train together.
00:35:59Fought on a few of the same cards.
00:36:01Right on.
00:36:02Yeah.
00:36:08If you see Danny boy, tell him to come to the damn press conferences, will ya?
00:36:16The place looks nice.
00:36:23You take care of yourself, Freddy.
00:36:43The guy gives me the creeps.
00:36:48Oh, Captain.
00:36:49Yeah.
00:36:49Do you have some visitors in your office?
00:36:51I said they could wait there.
00:36:52I hope it's okay.
00:36:53One of them says he's Danny Jackson's son.
00:36:57Oh, really?
00:36:59Really?
00:37:24Freddy.
00:37:25Yeah?
00:37:27He wouldn't come here.
00:37:29What?
00:37:30He wouldn't come here.
00:37:31I've always taught him when he was a kid.
00:37:33If you get in trouble, go to the cops.
00:37:36Yeah.
00:37:37Yeah, let's go.
00:37:52What's wrong?
00:37:55Police station's a block away.
00:37:57I'll leave my keys.
00:37:58I'll come back later.
00:38:00If the truck's still here, I'll take it.
00:38:01If not, I know you'll at least stand a chance.
00:38:04I'm sorry, Danny, but I've got to live in this town.
00:38:09I understand, Freddy.
00:38:11Thank you, man.
00:38:19A manhunt is underway today for Danny Jackson, known to boxing fans the world over as Danny
00:38:26Boy.
00:38:27Earlier today, police found the body of a young man shot to death in the Prairie Motel in
00:38:32Gomez, Texas, where Jackson was to fight popular light heavyweight champion Alonzo Medina in
00:38:39an exhibition to benefit the work of La Oportunidad.
00:38:42The event will go on, with Petey Wilson taking Jackson's place.
00:38:46With any information as to Jackson's whereabouts, should contact your local authority.
00:38:51It was soup.
00:38:54The shit just hit the fan.
00:39:17Jamie!
00:39:18Dad, look out!
00:39:21Dad, look out!
00:39:52Welcome.
00:39:54Welcome to the old city jail.
00:39:57Oh, we have a new one, but this one comes in handy for such occasions.
00:40:01You know, Danny Boy, it's nothing personal, but everything and everyone has value.
00:40:10Right now, I'm just trying to figure out how much value you have.
00:40:14I could possibly sell you into the slave trade for manual labor, but you're a little old, not
00:40:23in demand.
00:40:24Plus, you're dangerous.
00:40:27You have skills.
00:40:28You have skills.
00:40:29You have skills.
00:40:30They don't like that.
00:40:33So, tell you what I'm going to do.
00:40:39I'm going to make some phone calls and see if I can't help you out somehow.
00:40:44But I wouldn't get my hopes up too high.
00:40:49Probably, we're just going to end up having to kill you anyway.
00:40:53It saddens me, though, because you're an okay guy, really.
00:41:00Oh, and, um, as far as your son goes, you really have no reason to worry about him.
00:41:11He's in good hands.
00:41:14I mean, he's going to be living in the lap of luxury for the rest of his life, Danny.
00:41:23I see the guy before you here left his crucifix.
00:41:28I guess you can pray if you believe in such a thing.
00:41:36I'm pretty sure it didn't do him much good.
00:41:39Anyway.
00:41:42Oh, uh, this is, uh, Bubba?
00:41:48Bubba?
00:41:50Danny boy.
00:41:51You might notice that, uh, Bubba's a little on the large side.
00:41:55And so is Arthur, downstairs.
00:41:59They're here to make sure that everything stays cool.
00:42:28They're here to make sure that everything stays cool.
00:42:34I can't go.
00:42:52Oh, man.
00:42:54This is no good.
00:42:55It ain't any good for me, dude.
00:42:58I'm really claustrophobic, man.
00:42:59I can't stand small spaces.
00:43:01I'm going to go crazy in here.
00:43:04Please.
00:43:05Please, please help me get out of here, please.
00:43:08Just give me like a minute.
00:43:09A minute outside.
00:43:10Look, I got money, dude.
00:43:13Here, you can have all of it.
00:43:14You can have everything I have.
00:43:15Please.
00:43:16You can breathe.
00:43:19Please.
00:43:20I can't breathe.
00:43:21I can't breathe.
00:43:22I can't breathe.
00:43:37Oh, my God.
00:44:03Oh, my God.
00:44:32Oh, my God.
00:45:00Oh, my God.
00:45:03Oh, my God.
00:45:03Oh, my God.
00:45:04Oh, my God.
00:45:14Oh, my God.
00:45:23Oh, my God.
00:45:50Oh, my God.
00:45:55Oh, my God.
00:45:58Oh, are you all right?
00:46:26Oh, my God.
00:46:55Oh, my God.
00:47:04Oh, my God.
00:47:09Oh, my God.
00:47:26Oh, my God.
00:47:46Oh, my God.
00:48:14Oh, my God.
00:48:34Oh, my God.
00:48:44Oh, my God.
00:49:20Oh, my God.
00:49:23Oh, my God.
00:49:27Oh, my God.
00:49:45What about the guys?
00:49:48Hell, take them off.
00:49:50But leave them tied up.
00:49:59Oh, my God.
00:50:31Yeah?
00:50:32Man, he got away.
00:50:36You better be joking with me.
00:50:38No, he got out of his cell and knocked me out.
00:50:40He took the Jeep.
00:50:44How long's it been?
00:50:46Maybe 30 minutes.
00:50:47I don't know.
00:50:49One more thing.
00:50:52Bubba's dead.
00:50:54Bubba's dead.
00:51:12Freddy, get in.
00:51:13Hurry, hurry.
00:51:17I think I know where they could be.
00:51:18Let's head to the airport.
00:51:21I know that I'm outside, but the day that I die, I know that you'll have to cry.
00:51:30No one will cry.
00:51:35I still have the cell phone.
00:51:40What?
00:51:41I thought it was Sarsha's.
00:51:44It's in my underwear.
00:51:46In the front.
00:51:48But I can't get to it.
00:51:52I can.
00:51:55What do you mean?
00:52:00Sit sideways and lean back.
00:52:09And so you're going to stay with me, with money and without money.
00:52:15Oh, my God.
00:52:18It's for kissing my neck.
00:52:19What?
00:52:21It's for kissing my neck now.
00:52:28The young ones are getting to know each other.
00:52:34You know, don't take this personally, but we're going to make this all the real.
00:52:39I think so.
00:52:51I got it.
00:52:53I mean, the cell phone.
00:52:55I have it.
00:52:56I have it.
00:52:56I have it.
00:52:56I have it.
00:52:57Okay.
00:52:59Um, do you know who we're calling?
00:53:03For Freddy.
00:53:04Okay.
00:53:05Do you know the number?
00:53:08Yeah, I'll guide you.
00:53:10Okay.
00:53:11One notch up.
00:53:13One notch left.
00:53:14Okay.
00:53:15Press it.
00:53:17Okay.
00:53:18One notch right.
00:53:19Same row.
00:53:21One notch left.
00:53:22Okay.
00:53:22You know, we make a good team.
00:53:24Oh, but don't forget to kiss my neck.
00:53:28You guys don't even love you.
00:53:30I know, but we don't want to take any chance.
00:53:32Right?
00:53:37Hey, hey.
00:53:39Señor Garza, ¿cómo te va?
00:53:42Muy bien.
00:53:44Todo tranquilo.
00:53:45No, but it's Captain Garza.
00:53:48Oh, yeah.
00:53:50It's Benza.
00:53:52Capitan Garza.
00:53:54How's the promotion going?
00:53:55Oh, big fight this weekend.
00:53:57Oh, sí, sí.
00:53:58Good, good.
00:54:01Tell me, Paco, my friend, have you seen Freddy?
00:54:08Rivera, recently.
00:54:10Oh, yeah, you know what?
00:54:12Hey, I saw him at the bowling alley.
00:54:16That was a couple of weeks ago.
00:54:19Sí, estaba bowling.
00:54:20At the bowling?
00:54:22Of course.
00:54:25How about Danny Jackson?
00:54:28Have you seen him anywhere?
00:54:34Oh, yeah, you know what?
00:54:36I saw him in Vegas in 1996
00:54:41cuando peleó el dunk.
00:54:42No, me digas.
00:54:46I haven't seen him recently.
00:54:49No, no, no, no.
00:54:50But you know what?
00:54:51I heard he wasn't down for the big fight.
00:54:54Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:54:55Big fight.
00:54:56You know what?
00:54:59Vegas has an A to 100 dunk.
00:55:02Where are you putting your money, Señor Paco?
00:55:08Well, my money's on Danny Boyd Jackson.
00:55:13Señor Garza, hands down.
00:55:21You never know, my friend.
00:55:24You never know.
00:55:49Just a couple more miles.
00:55:52Hey.
00:55:53Bueno.
00:55:59Hey, hey, hey.
00:56:01¿Qué pasó, boy?
00:56:03¿Eh?
00:56:04Where are we going?
00:56:06That's for us to know and you to find out.
00:56:08Not really.
00:56:10Where are we going?
00:56:11Hey, that's Jamie.
00:56:12That's Jamie.
00:56:14You better enjoy a little novia, pequeño,
00:56:16before you beat.
00:56:16La viuda loca.
00:56:18Loca.
00:56:19That's it.
00:56:20La viuda loca.
00:56:21What's that?
00:56:22It means a crazy widow.
00:56:23It's the name of that western town
00:56:24out in the desert about an hour away.
00:56:26La Opportunidad owns it.
00:56:27Western town?
00:56:28Yeah, you know,
00:56:29where they shoot the movie,
00:56:30but it's been deserted for years.
00:56:31Hey, hey.
00:56:33Just in case you were wondering,
00:56:35we're doing fine.
00:56:37Hey, that's Jamie's way
00:56:38of telling us that he's okay.
00:56:40Turn it around, amigo.
00:56:41We gotta get to la viuda loca.
00:56:42Turn it around, amigo.
00:57:12En serio?
00:57:13Nomás me dijo que encerara hoy
00:57:15y abrir el gimnasio todos los días
00:57:17hasta que vuelva.
00:57:19Hasta que vuelva?
00:57:20Sí.
00:57:25Gracias.
00:57:40This is Captain Garza.
00:57:42I want an APB issued right away
00:57:44for Freddy Rivera,
00:57:46the boxing trainer.
00:57:47He's probably traveling
00:57:48with Danny Jackson.
00:57:50Stand forward.
00:57:51This is all units.
00:57:52We have an APB
00:57:52from Freddy Rivera.
00:57:53Mail constanding.
00:57:55I want an APB.
00:57:56I want an APB.
00:57:57I want an APB.
00:58:01I want an APB.
00:58:09I want an APB.
00:58:14I want an APB.
00:58:14I want an APB.
00:58:14I want an APB.
00:58:14I want an APB.
00:58:14I want an APB.
00:58:14I want an APB.
00:58:15I want an APB.
00:58:16I want an APB.
00:58:16I want an APB.
00:58:17I want an APB.
00:58:17I want an APB.
00:58:19I want an APB.
00:58:21I want an APB.
00:58:30Where do you want those guys?
00:58:31In there.
00:59:02You've been drinking, haven't you?
00:59:05Not much.
00:59:14You want to get tough a little?
00:59:16You've been drinking, haven't you?
00:59:20That's what I thought.
00:59:36Let me get this straight. With all the power of all the police department, you guys can't keep track of
00:59:42one ex-buyer and a sidekick.
00:59:45The good news is, the package has probably arrived at La Vida Loca by now.
00:59:53And then we can make the delivery to the Mexicans in a couple of hours.
00:59:57The bad news is we've got your stupid sister and her stupid husband and two stupid greasers that they hired
01:00:04in control of this entire operation.
01:00:07Reginald, it'll be alright. Okay? Everything's on track.
01:00:12No, everything is not on track. Because if it was, Danny Jackson would be fighting in the main event on
01:00:19Saturday, his son would be in the front row, and we'd be selling an anonymous boy instead of the offspring
01:00:24of the most popular fighter of all time!
01:00:27Reginald, please. Don't get so worked up.
01:00:29I want you there.
01:00:31What?
01:00:31I want your ass in La Vida Loca.
01:00:34Are you crazy?
01:00:36We need to stay away from this.
01:00:41In the land of the stupid, the man with half a brain is you.
01:00:49I want you there overseeing the swap. You understand me?
01:00:54Do you understand me?
01:00:58Yeah.
01:00:59I understand.
01:01:01Crystal clear.
01:01:09Hey Danny, I hear they got Petey Wilson to fight Medina this weekend.
01:01:13Wilson?
01:01:14He couldn't carry my jockstrap back in the day.
01:01:17Neither could Medina.
01:01:21I'm worried about my son, Freddie.
01:01:24Gotta have faith, Danny.
01:01:26What is a faith that allows people to strap bombs to their kids in the name of God?
01:01:32You tell me that, Freddie.
01:01:33Danny, God doesn't give us a perfect world.
01:01:36I mean, He just gives us the strength to deal with what we have.
01:01:40God doesn't have arms or legs.
01:01:43It depends on us to do His work.
01:01:46Let's go do it.
01:02:16Can I help you, officer?
01:02:1880 and a 20?
01:02:20You in a rush?
01:02:22I'm sorry.
01:02:23I must let the speed creep up on me.
01:02:25Yeah, well, let me see license and registration.
01:02:32You're a lucky day, boys.
01:02:33Drive safe.
01:02:40Sylvia.
01:02:41Yes.

01:03:02and don't take your guys off again.
01:03:26Come on.

01:03:30Come on.
01:03:41Okay, pequeño.
01:03:43Right there.
01:03:44She goes first.

01:03:47Right there, mijita.
01:03:51You're not going to watch me.
01:03:53Hey, baby.
01:03:54You're not getting out of my sight.
01:03:56You do it there, where you stand, or not at all.
01:04:10Tara, don't do it.
01:04:12I have to.
01:04:14You don't watch.

01:05:24That way is the worst.
01:05:26That way.
01:05:47I don't know.
01:05:49Escape, escape, escape, escape, escape.
01:05:51What?
01:05:52Come quick.
01:05:53I go.
01:06:11I can't run anymore.
01:06:13He has to keep going.
01:06:14We're going to catch up by now.

01:06:18Come on.
01:06:27Oh, my God.
01:07:21Oh, my God.
01:07:27Do you see that?
01:07:29Do you see that, cabranes?
01:07:32That could cost us half a million dollars.
01:07:37All you had to do was watch two children.
01:07:45Two children!
01:07:55Sylvia.
01:07:59I need you to stop the bleeding, clean the wound, put some makeup on it.
01:08:07You did bring the makeup, yes?
01:08:10Yes, my man.
01:08:12Good.
01:08:16And I need you idiots to watch things.
01:08:21Can you handle that?
01:08:24Hmm?
01:08:25Without getting your asses kicked by a child?
01:08:30I swear, if anything else happens, I'm going to personally throw your asses in the helicopter.
01:08:37All right?
01:08:39And you can kiss your pathetic lives goodbye.
01:08:42Goodbye.
01:08:46You two!
01:08:53We have less than an hour before we have to make the drop-off.
01:08:58Tie him up.
01:09:01What else could go wrong?
01:09:05Anything?
01:09:07No.
01:09:08I didn't think so.
01:09:31Can I help you?
01:09:33Yeah, you know, we heard there was this western town, you know, where they do tours.
01:09:40Are there any tours?
01:09:41No tours, man.
01:09:43Close to the public.
01:09:44Oh.
01:09:45Really?
01:09:47Really.
01:09:47Well, can't we just get in there, you know, for a little bit?
01:09:50Just, I've never seen a movie set before.
01:09:52No, that wouldn't be okay.
01:09:55Now get the hell out of here.
01:09:59What are we going to do, Freddy?
01:10:03Nice.
01:10:13We're not going to make it, Arvi.
01:10:15Don't talk like that.
01:10:17They're selling us.
01:10:18That's exactly right.
01:10:19Which means they can't afford to hurt us.
01:10:22So anything they want us to do, do it slow.
01:10:26Anything to buy us time.
01:10:41We should have the element of surprise.
01:10:43Yeah, just keep an eye out for cars coming and going.
01:10:46When we attack, we kill everything in sight.
01:10:51Except the kids.
01:10:52Yeah.
01:10:53Yeah.
01:10:53Important safety consideration.
01:10:54Yeah.
01:11:12Hey, sorry, come on.
01:11:13Let me get it.

01:12:54I will kill him right now.
01:12:56You know what?
01:12:56I'll kill her too.
01:12:58Wouldn't that be nice?
01:13:00Sure, I'm not gonna make as much money if I do that.
01:13:03But half a hog's better than none, son.
01:13:07Get your ass in there now.
01:13:12I love you, Dad.
01:13:13I love you.
01:13:15Good boy.
01:13:29It's a long way to nowhere, Danny boy.
01:13:31I think I'll just leave you here to die slowly.
01:13:36I never liked you when you were fighting anyway.
01:13:57Bet you thought I forgot about that pistol.
01:14:00Didn't you, amigo?
01:14:21Hey!
01:14:24Hey!
01:14:46Hey, Garza.
01:14:48Why are we stopping?
01:14:49What are you doing?
01:15:19Dad. Dad got him after all.
01:15:27Why are the kids now?
01:15:29I don't know. Where are the kids?
01:15:33He knows we gotta see them before we touch down.
01:15:48What's happening out there? I don't know.
01:16:02Something's wrong. Let's get out of here. Let's go.
01:16:05I don't know.
01:16:06I don't know.
01:16:09I don't know.

01:17:03I don't know.
01:17:05I don't know.
01:17:15I don't know.
01:17:21I don't know.
01:17:31I don't know.
01:17:32I don't know.
01:17:43I don't know.
01:17:45I don't know.
01:17:49I don't know.
01:17:55I don't know.
01:18:22Dad!
01:18:28Dad, Dad, Dad, it's me, I love you, boy, I love you too, Mom, you're okay, it's okay, Dad,
01:18:56Dad, Dad, Mary, you're okay, it's okay.
01:19:07Look a little pale.
01:19:08Eyes look a little funny and...
01:19:13And what?
01:19:20Michael, hungry first.
01:19:21What's the matter, Freddy cat?
01:19:23This is only a tiny little bird.
01:19:26Charges were brought against...
01:19:27Are they ever going to let us out of here?
01:19:29Watch.
01:19:30Of Jamie Jackson and Tara Hastings,
01:19:33as well as charges of assault with intent to kill
01:19:37against Jackson's father, Danny Jackson,
01:19:40and Freddy Martinez.
01:19:42An investigation is also being launched
01:19:44into human trafficking allegations against Sterling
01:19:47and the involvement of his noted non-profit organization
01:19:50known as La Opportunidad,
01:19:53through which money was allegedly laundered.
01:19:56What are you up to?
01:19:57What am I up to?
01:19:59Gee, let's see.
01:20:00Probably the same thing that I was up to five minutes ago
01:20:02the last time you rolled in here.
01:20:04I want to get the heck out of here.
01:20:06Amen to that.
01:20:08Are they ever going to let us out of here?
01:20:10Remind me never to get shot again, okay?
01:20:12It's not the least bit pleasant, is it?
01:20:14No.
01:20:15There's about a billion other things
01:20:16I'd rather be doing right now.
01:20:18Hey, how's Jamie doing?
01:20:20Always good, thanks.
01:20:21Yeah, his mom picked him up yesterday.
01:20:23How was that?
01:20:25That was weird.
01:20:27It's like I think I'm going to start seeing her again
01:20:29when I get home.
01:20:30Who knows, buddy?
01:20:34Did you find it?
01:20:38Find what?
01:20:40Faith.
01:20:45Man, if you can go through
01:20:46what the two of us went through
01:20:47and not find faith,
01:20:49you ain't human.
01:20:50Amen.
01:20:52What was that thing you told Jamie the other day?
01:20:55Faith is believing in something
01:20:56even when there's no reason to believe.
01:20:59Comes from up there.
01:21:02And from right here.
01:21:07Speaking of believing,
01:21:08what in the world made you think
01:21:09you could beat Alonzo Medina?
01:21:11Oh, shut up.
01:21:13You know I could have taken that kid
01:21:14in three rounds.
01:21:16Max.
01:21:16They must have all kind of drugs
01:21:18pumped into your system, man.
01:21:19I mean, you don't even know
01:21:20what you're saying.
01:21:21It is not the drugs, okay?
01:21:23It's a fact
01:21:24I would have taken that kid.
01:21:25He's young,
01:21:26he's inexperienced,
01:21:27and I'm the seasoned professional.
01:21:28I read an article that said
01:21:30you were 41.
01:21:30I am 41.
01:21:32You're 46 if you're a day.
01:21:34That's close to 41.
01:21:35Oh, Lord.
01:21:37You're probably closer to 50.
01:21:40Nah.
01:21:41Yeah.
01:21:41Yeah.
