The new GLB is available as a five-seater and a seven-seater. Those who opt for the version with two additional seats in the third row can therefore travel with the entire tennis team to the next league match or spontaneously take the neighbor's kids to the school fair.
Even last-minute changes of plan won't faze GLB drivers: With the longitudinally adjustable bench seat in the second row, there's still room for plants from the garden center, your best friend's moving boxes, or that flea market bargain.
Compared to its predecessor, the new electric GLB offers noticeably more headroom in the first two rows. This is due to the SUV's roofline and the standard panoramic sunroof. Rear passengers will also appreciate the increased legroom. Seating comfort in the second row has been significantly improved, including a longer thigh support. And before the family vacation, parents no longer need to juggle luggage: With 127 liters (104 liters according to ISO 3832), the model boasts the largest front trunk ("frunk") in the new model family. Plenty of room for a crate of drinks. Or three soccer balls. Or a compact tent. The rear trunk holds up to 540/480 liters (five/seven-seater), and with the rear seatbacks folded down, it expands to 1,715/1,605 liters.
