00:00Come with me as I go on this very impromptu day trip to Leo Piccolo which is a village in
00:05Venice.
00:05To give you a bit of context, Leo Piccolo means little shore in Italian.
00:10It is such a pretty place if you love nature.
00:14I took a train from Padova and saw this cute piano.
00:18On the way, in front of the train station in Venice, you can see the boat.
00:22I took the first one to San Zacreia where my friend joined me and then we took another boat to
00:28Leo Piccolo.
00:28This time, we got to sit at the deck which was pretty cool even though we couldn't talk with the
00:33noise from the boat.
00:35But let's be real, we all need to shut up sometimes.
00:37We finally reached there and oh my god, look at this.
00:41It's truly a hidden gem because there were hardly any tourists there.
00:45My friend saw the statue and she said that this has the Dodge Hat which is the highest authority of
00:52the San Arcema or the Republic of Venice.
00:55We rented two bicycles for the whole day.
00:58This is the best way to see the village although I did see some cars but some spaces can be
01:04tight so it's best to use a cycle.
01:06We cycled around a lot and saw this abandoned building for sale.
01:10I was thinking of buying it but then you know, logistics.
01:14So, I put this idea in the back burner and then we stopped again here and I saw my friend
01:20praying to Poseidon while I was basically filming to show you guys I can cycle.
01:26We stopped at a couple more places to look at the ships and pretty places.
01:31We then cycled to this small farm to table restaurant in town.
01:35Apparently, this artichoke is a Venetian specialty and it was given just with vinegar and oil and it was so
01:44freaking good.
01:45Then, of course, I had some pasta with ragu and some fresh seafood.
01:49I am a bit skeptical of seafood in restaurants but this was so nice.
01:54We then walked around a bit and saw this cycle on the pole and then debated on how it got
02:00there in the first place.
02:02By then, the sun was setting and I saw this cute bird just chilling alone.
02:06We cycled back fast because we had to give the cycle and there was also not enough lights in the
02:13street to cycle at night.
02:14Although, we did stop to see the sun set fully.
02:18Before we know it, we were so tired and we were back at Venice.
02:22I got a bus to go back home, took a hot shower and watched a pretty good movie with some
02:27hottie.
02:27The moral of the story, when your friend asks you if you want to cycle in a random island, say
02:33yes.
02:33It's pretty fun.
