No clever texting plot twist. Just the quiet, unforgiving wilderness, which is a great place to run out of excuses.

The meeting forces them to face what they’ve been carrying. And it’s not the cute kind of “we should talk more.” It’s the ugly kind, where the past is still active and every “we never meant it like that” sounds suspicious.

The movie builds its drama around generations and personal fallout, like family bonds can fracture, heal, and then fracture again. At IMDb 5.9 and Rotten Tomatoes 53 percent, it won’t pretend to be flawless. But if you like stories where emotions aren’t polished for TV, this one’s worth a watch.
