Denji went from just a guy to “Chainsaw Man.” Now he works for the Devil Hunters in Special Division 4, trying to keep up while his life runs on pure chaos. Then he has a date with Makima. Sure. The woman of his dreams, the rain coming down, everything looking almost normal. Keyword: almost.

Because while he’s ducking the weather, Denji meets Reze. She works at a coffee café, which is a very anime way of saying “this is where things get complicated.” The romance setup does its job for about two minutes. After that, the film turns cute into dangerous with devil-level consequences.

This isn’t subtle character drama. It’s more like: feelings, coffee, and then the universe remembers Denji is basically a walking problem. If you want your anime with equal parts tension and mayhem, give this one a watch.

Denji hat es geschafft. Aus „normalem Typ“ wurde „Kettensägenmann“. Jetzt jagt er als Teil der Spezialabteilung 4 Teufel und versucht nebenbei, wenigstens ein bisschen Alltag zu bekommen. Klingt machbar, bis Makima auftaucht und er eine Verabredung hat. Romantik, Regen. Ja, wirklich.

Im Schutz der Nässe trifft Denji auf Reze. Die arbeitet in einem Café. Und natürlich kann man sowas nicht einfach lassen. Denn sobald dieser Film auf Beziehung macht, kippt das Ganze sofort in Chaos, Explosionen und jede Menge Teufelslogik. Reze wirkt erst wie der Moment, in dem Denji durchatmet. Dann merkst du: Das ist kein Kuschel-Upgrade. Das ist eine Abkürzung zur Katastrophe.

Wer genug vom gedämpften Anime-Glamour hat und lieber Krach plus Herz sucht, wird hier gut bedient.
