Saira is a space princess who prefers her comfy bubble to drama. Then her bounty-hunter girlfriend, Kiki, breaks up with her. “Too boring,” Kiki says. Sure. Saira did make her a sweet relationship album, so it’s not like she’s emotionally bankrupt. But then Kiki gets kidnapped by the “Straight White Maliens,” which is a hilariously ominous way to say the future’s worst crowd is coming. Now Saira has 24 hours to deliver the ransom. The catch? The money is the royal Labrys, a golden double axe that looks like it comes with its own fanfic-level confidence. And the bigger problem. Saira does not have the axe skills. Yet. So yeah, expect awkward bravery, queer space chaos, and a very direct lesson in how love and violence somehow share the same oxygen supply.

Grund? Angeblich zu langweilig. Klar. Saira hat ihr sogar ein Beziehungsalbum gebastelt. Das ist nett. Hilft aber nicht, wenn Kiki dann von den „Straight White Maliens“ entführt wird. Plötzlich läuft die Zeit. 24 Stunden, Lösegeld liefern. Und zwar die königliche Labrys. Eine goldene Doppelaxt mit lesbischer Macht-Fantasie auf Turbo. Problem: Saira kann mit dem Ding noch nicht umgehen. Sie wird es trotzdem. Weil irgendwo zwischen Safe Space und Weltraum-Notfall die Axt entscheidet, wer hier eigentlich die Führung übernimmt.
