00:00The killer was surprised when he discovered that the pregnant woman was alone during her prenatal
00:04checkup. He quietly followed her and shoved the unconscious woman into his car. He planned to
00:08drive to the mountains to end her life. Just then, the woman's phone rang. The killer answered it
00:12and glanced at the screen. The caller ID showed it was the woman's husband. He sneered. Without a
00:17second thought, he tossed the phone out the window. This distracted him, and he crashed into the car
00:21in front of him. The driver of the other car flew into a rage, rushed to his car, and began
00:25shouting
00:26abuse. Enraged, the killer slammed on the gas and fled the scene immediately. The furious driver
00:30immediately called the police. Shortly afterward, the killer drove into the nearby mountains. He took
00:35an electric drill out of the trunk and dragged the woman out of the car. This was already the ninth
00:39woman he had murdered. He always chose rainy days to commit his crimes because the rain would wash
00:43away all traces, making it impossible for the police to catch him. Whenever it rained, the police station
00:48would dispatch a large number of officers to search the area. At that moment, the dispatcher notified
00:52officers nearby about the previous incident. Jack and his partner happened to be patrolling the area
00:57and quickly arrived at the scene. After inspecting the scene, Jack noticed that the tires on the car
01:02in front were severely worn, which caused the vehicle to swerve suddenly, and the car behind
01:06couldn't break in time and crashed into it. If it hadn't been the fault of the car behind,
01:10why would the killer have fled at that exact moment? Jack spotted a phone that the killer had tossed
01:14aside on the roadside. Out of curiosity, he picked it up. The phone was badly damaged and wouldn't turn
01:19on. But Jack's intuition told him something was off. So he and his partner followed the route to
01:23investigate. When they reached a mountain road, Jack suspected this was likely the killer's usual
01:27spot for committing crimes. So he decided to get out and search the area. Sure enough, he discovered
01:32van tire tracks. These tire tracks hadn't been washed away by the rain, meaning the vehicle had
01:37passed through recently. Throughout the search, they hadn't seen any other vehicles. He was certain
01:41these were the marks left by the getaway vehicle. So he decided to continue the pursuit. When they reached an
01:46intersection in the city, the red light came on and many vehicles stopped. Taking advantage of the
01:50red light, Jack used a flashlight to check each car one by one. He soon spotted a car with mud
01:55-covered tires.
