Melissa is tired of her messy life, so she grabs a job as a lookout at a remote fire tower. Quiet, isolated, finally a fresh start. Sure.

The first stretch plays like simple setup: watch the horizon, report what you see, pretend you’re fine. Then the silence starts acting weird. Otherworldly stuff creeps in, and before you can even settle into “maybe it’s just stress,” it turns threatening in a hurry.

It’s the kind of horror where the location is the real villain. The tower is small, the options are fewer, and every sound feels like it’s coming closer. If you like your scares grounded in isolation and paranoia, Lookout should hit the right nerve.

Melissa will kurz durchatmen und nimmt einen Job als Wächterin auf einem abgelegenen Feuerwachtturm. Klingt nach frischer Luft, ist aber eher wie „Schichtbeginn trifft Albtraum“. Erst wirkt alles beruhigend, dann merkt man: Hier ist irgendwas nicht nur faul, sondern irgendwie… von woanders.

Die Natur draußen bleibt gleich, aber drinnen kippt die Stimmung. Übernatürliche Vorkommnisse treiben sich in den Gängen herum, und plötzlich wird aus „Beobachten“ ein Überlebensthema. Keine Zeit für große Erklärungen, nur für die Frage: Wie weit kann man eine unheimliche Situation ignorieren, bevor sie zurückschreit?
