This is what “affordable living” looks like when the bill comes with a threat. Lynette is staring at eviction, and she has one night to raise $25,000 for herself and her brother. That is the whole game. No extra time-outs, no moral high ground. Just Lynette scrambling through increasingly risky choices, trying to turn desperation into cash before the clock runs out. Along the way, her dark past refuses to stay buried, because of course it doesn’t. The movie’s energy is all pressure, like a knot tightening one minute at a time. It is not exactly subtle, and it flirts with the kind of intensity that feels a little too convenient. Still, if you like stories where every move costs something real, Night Always Comes is hard to look away from.
----------
