00:02These are the final hours of the election campaign in Hungary.
00:06Voters will go to the polls on Sunday to elect their new parliament.
00:11The election pits the outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orban
00:15against Peter Magyar, the opposition's leading figure.
00:19Viktor Orban has been leading the country for 16 years.
00:23The wear and tear of power, the deteriorating economic situation
00:27and a series of government scandals coming to light,
00:31make this election the Prime Minister's greatest electoral challenge.
00:36TISA party, founded two years ago by Peter Magyar,
00:40currently leads in opinion polls ahead of Orban's Fidesz party.
00:50J.D. Vance has flown to Pakistan to lead high-stakes talks with Iran,
00:56warning Tehran that if it tries to, quote,
00:59play the U.S., negotiators won't be receptive.
01:04Before boarding Air Force One, the U.S. Vice President told reporters
01:09he was looking forward to the talks.
01:13I think it's going to be positive.
01:14We'll of course see.
01:15As the President of the United States said,
01:17if the Iranians are willing to negotiate in good faith,
01:20we're certainly willing to extend the open hand.
01:23Meanwhile, U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer held talks with top Qatari officials
01:29on a visit to the Gulf nation on Friday,
01:32discussing what he termed the, quote,
01:34fragile ceasefire in the Iran war.
01:37Obviously, the discussion moved very quickly to the ceasefire,
01:41a sense that it's fragile, that more work is needed,
01:45that the Strait of Hormuz has to be part of the solution,
01:48a very strong sense that there can't be tolling or restrictions on that navigation.
01:54Also on Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expelled Spain
01:59from participating in a U.S.-led international body monitoring Gaza after it had, quote,
02:06chosen repeatedly to stand against Israel.
02:10Around 200 American troops are currently working alongside the Israeli military
02:15and delegations from other countries to monitor the implementation
02:19of the U.S.-sponsored peace deal in Gaza.
02:26After blazing new records near the Moon,
02:29Artemis II's astronauts completed humanity's first lunar voyage
02:33in more than half a century with a Pacific splashdown in the early hours of Saturday.
02:38The triumphant moonfarers emerged from their bobbin capsule into the sunlight off the coast of San Diego,
02:45a dramatic grand finale to a mission that revealed not only swords of the lunar far side
02:51never seen before by human eyes.
02:54Military helicopters lifted the astronauts one by one from an inflatable raft attached to the capsule,
03:00transporting them on board for the brief journey to the Navy's waiting recovery ship.
03:06Artemis II didn't land on the Moon or even orbit it,
03:10but it broke Apollo 13's distance record
03:13and marked the farthest that humans have ever journeyed from Earth
03:16when the crew reached nearly 407,000 kilometers.
03:20With their flights now complete,
03:22the four astronauts have set NASA up for a moon landing by another crew in just two years
03:28and a full-blown moon base within the decade.
03:35Stefano Gabbana has resigned as chairman of Dolce & Gabbana
03:39just as the brand wrestles with €450 million in debt.
03:44He co-founded the Italian luxury house with Domenico Dolce back in 1985,
03:50though he will maintain a creative role.
03:53Stepping into the chairman's role is Alfonso Dolce, Domenico's brother,
03:58who takes the corporate reins as the brand navigates a fresh round of debt refinancing.
04:04The company described the departure, which took effect on January 1,
04:09as a natural process of organizational and governance evolution.
04:13This resignation, the statement continues, has no impact on the creative activities carried out for the group by Stefano Gabbana
04:21himself.
04:22They added that in regard to the debt they are still in negotiations with banks.
04:27Dolce & Gabbana built its name on Dolce's Sicilian roots
04:31and a particular genius for form-fitting glamour.
