00:31Well, can I just say it's a fantastic opportunity, Georgia, for us to have a bilateral, to discuss the very
00:38many pressing issues of the day, but it's always a pleasure and privilege to talk these things through with like
00:45-minded people like yourselves, the good relationship between our countries, the personal relationship we have.
00:50We have much to discuss at this G7, the Middle East, Ukraine, NATO, you name it, but I'm really pleased
00:57to be able to have the first bilateral of G7 with you here this evening, so thank you so much.
01:03Thank you, Pierre. It's my second bilateral of the G7. Eric was here and I just met him, and I
01:09think it is a very good occasion to stay two days together in these difficult times and try to discuss
01:17about all the topics
01:19that we have, as you were saying, the recent events in the Middle East and the path towards just and
01:27lasting peace in Ukraine,
01:29and then the efforts that we will have to do in Europe to reinforce our defense, our security, that will
01:37lead us to the NATO summit,
01:38and then many bilateral topics, many very important things that Italy and the UK are doing together also, for example,
01:45on defense with the GCAP and other very strategic initiatives,
01:49and then I'm very happy about our cooperation on migration.
01:52Yes, on migration we've got a lot to discuss.
01:54Yes, a lot to discuss, and we've been working very hard in the States to have a dedicated joint declaration
02:03to tackle the traffickers, and it was very important for Italy, for you know, we've been the first bringing the
02:11topic at the G7 level,
02:13so I'm very happy that this work continues, and thanks to UK for being very clear on this topic.
02:21So many, many things to be discussed, and it's a privilege for me to have this occasion.
02:26Fantastic. Thank you.
