1870s Montana, a town called Trinity, and a plan that starts as “duty” and quickly turns into “bad idea.” Isaac Broadway is about to be executed, so he hands his estranged son Henry one last assignment. Henry is supposed to track down the man his father blames for a crime he insists he never committed. Easy, right? Sure. If you ignore the small detail that everyone in Trinity seems to be hiding something.

Henry arrives hoping to finally earn his father’s approval. Instead, he’s stuck between two forces that don’t play nice. Gabriel Dove, the new sheriff who genuinely wants to keep things orderly, and St. Christopher, a mysterious presence with the kind of agenda that doesn’t come with explanations.

The violence ramps up as buried secrets crawl out of the woodwork. Not a clean Western revenge fantasy. More like a slow-burn standoff where the “right path” keeps moving.

Montana, 1870er Jahre. Endlich kommt jemand ins Kaff Trinity, der glaubt, mit einer “Familienpflicht” alles geradebiegen zu können. Henry kehrt zurück, kurz vor der Hinrichtung steckt sein Vater Isaac Broadway ihn in eine ziemlich üble Aufgabenbox: Bring den Mann zur Strecke, der ihm einen Mord anhängt, den er nie begangen hat. Klar, klingt nach Gerechtigkeit. Spoiler: Es wird eher ein Schachspiel mit verdrehten Regeln.

In Trinity steht nicht nur der neue, ehrliche Sheriff Gabriel Dove auf Ordnung. Da ist auch noch St. Christopher, diese geheimnisvolle Gestalt, die so tut, als würde sie ein ganz anderes Spiel planen. Henry muss sich entscheiden, wem er folgen will. Und wenn du denkst, du hast die Richtung verstanden, tritt die Geschichte einmal dagegen. 7,3 bei IMDb, aber Rotten Tomatoes wirkt, als hätte die Redaktion selbst zu viel Geheimnis gegessen.
