„Ikk Kudi“ nimmt dir die arrangierte Ehe nicht mit Samthandschuhen ab. Die junge, temperamentvolle Protagonistin stellt erst mal die Frage, die alle Erwachsenen gern überhören: Wer bist du eigentlich wirklich? Und weil Reden allein offenbar zu einfach wäre, startet sie einen Mix aus Chaos, Gefühl und Comedy, um mehr über ihren Verlobten herauszufinden. Natürlich läuft nichts geradlinig. Statt großem Romantik-Highlight bekommt man ein altes Familiengeheimnis serviert, das nicht nur peinlich, sondern ziemlich prägend ist. Am Ende fühlt sich das Ganze weniger wie „Wird schon irgendwie“ an, sondern eher wie: Da war eine Wunde, die viel zu lange zugeklebt wurde. Süffisant, emotional und mit genau der richtigen Portion Trotz.
