A father and his son head into the mountains of southern Morocco because one thing is missing. Mar. A daughter and sister who vanished months ago, leaving behind nothing but rumors and that nagging feeling that you’ll never find a “nice” explanation. So they go where everyone who’s stuck seems to end up: a rave that runs so long it stops feeling like a party and starts feeling like a system. There’s music, sure, but also exhaustion, false leads, and the constant question of who’s lost and who’s just hiding. “Sirāt” turns the festival fantasy upside down. Nicht so ein Festival mit Sonnenuntergang und Pfandbecher, sondern eine dieser endlosen, schlaflosen Nächte, in der jeder Blick ein Rätsel ist und jede Musik ein möglicher Ausweg. „Sirāt“ ist keine romantische Party-Nummer, sondern ein Thriller im Lichtflackern. Du spürst die Nähe. Und du merkst schnell: In dieser Landschaft ist Rhythmus nicht nur Sound, er ist Kontrolle.
