„King Ivory“ is the kind of thriller that doesn’t bother pretending this is just another case. Layne West hunts fentanyl that’s being sold on the street under the name „King Ivory“. For him, it’s not a job. Then his son Jack starts using, and the whole investigation turns into something far uglier. You can feel West’s sense of justice curdle into anger, and that shift matters because the movie stops offering clean winners. It’s a no-win conflict, where every move has a cost and nobody comes out looking like the good guy. The story is built like a real-world exposé, backed by research with law enforcement, gangs, inmates, migrants, and addicts. Less fantasy. More consequences.
----------
