“Trans” doesn’t come with a user manual. Henri Vogel’s life, walking day by day, makes that painfully clear. You get discrimination, humiliation, and the awful feeling of being treated like a remote-controlled character in someone else’s story.

Henri Vogel geht spazieren durch seinen Alltag. Kein großes Drama mit Musik-Score im Hintergrund, eher eine nüchterne Bestandsaufnahme: Was heißt es eigentlich, wenn Transsein nicht nur Identität ist, sondern auch ständig Angriffe, Erniedrigung und dieses Gefühl, dass irgendwer Entscheidungen trifft, die eigentlich deine sein sollten.

Und dann der zweite Teil, der genauso wichtig ist: sich selbst neu erfinden, einen neuen Namen annehmen und ausprobieren, wie es sich anfühlt, endlich wirklich so zu existieren, wie man ist. „Privileg“ macht aus dem Wort keine Werbebroschüre. Es zeigt, warum Würde und Selbstbestimmung alles andere als selbstverständlich sind. Kurz. Direkt. Und mit diesem leisen „Ja, das ist auch schwer“-Unterton.
