Benji meets Jake at an airport gate and it’s basically love at first glance. Jake is the kind of football coach you’d expect to win arguments with his biceps, and for a moment it feels perfect. Then reality shows up: they can only see each other once a month, secretly in Amsterdam, because Jake isn’t ready to come out. It’s supposed to be the romantic sacrifice. But the thrill doesn’t last. Those discreet trips turn into something darker, where the chemistry comes with a power imbalance attached. Benji keeps reaching for a kind of love Jake won’t actually give him, and the whole thing spirals fast. The only people who can pull him back are his best friends. Problem: Die beiden dürfen sich nur einmal im Monat heimlich in Amsterdam sehen. Jake will sich nicht outen. Klingt nach Romantik light, bis die Treffen nicht mehr nur knistern, sondern knirschen. Denn aus Lust wird Druck. Aus „einmal im Monat“ wird ein Machtspiel, das Benji richtig aus der Spur wirft. Wer dann noch glaubt, das ist nur eine süße Liebesgeschichte, hat den Trailer vielleicht zu schnell weggewischt. Zum Glück haben Benjis besten Freunde genug Chaos im Werkzeugkasten, um ihn wieder rauszuholen.
