September and July are close, but they don’t share the same settings. September is protective in a way that slowly becomes suspicious. July is curious and unbothered, which is a dangerous combo once school drama spills into real life. After September gets suspended, the family retreats to a run-down holiday house in Ireland. Sounds cozy, right? Sure. Then the surreal stuff starts showing up, one oddly specific encounter at a time, turning the sisters’ bond into something more volatile. This isn’t a tidy ghost story or a feel-good indie. It’s more like watching two people fight over who gets to control the story, while the house keeps adding new rules. The result is strange, tense, and occasionally funny in that “wait, really?” way. Ratings are mixed, but if you like your emotions a little off-kilter, this one fits.
----------
