00:00I have a couple of questions. I do think you have to read that text, because we have reporting that
00:05the United States is striking some targets in Carg Island.
00:09You did say that the military objective...
00:12Carg Island, you know, my understanding, you know, having talked to Pete and General Cain about this, is that we
00:19were going to strike some military targets on Carg Island.
00:21I believe we have done so. The president's deadline has been followed by us and everybody else.
00:27And he said very clearly, we're not going to strike energy and infrastructure targets until the Iranians either make a
00:33proposal that we can get behind or don't make a proposal.
00:36But he's given them until Tuesday at 8 o'clock. So I don't think the news in Carg Island represents
00:41a change in strategy or represents any change from the president of the United States.
00:45He continues to say the deadline is 8 o'clock.
00:47The Iranians are not... they were not the fastest negotiators before the war started, and they are certainly not the
00:54fastest negotiators now.
00:55So we recognize there's some delay sometimes in transmitting messages from one person to another, but we feel confident that
01:03we can get a response, whether it's positive or negative, we're going to get a response from the Iranians by
01:078 o'clock tonight.
01:08I hope they make the right response, because what we really want is we want a world where oil and
01:15gas is flowing freely, where people can afford to heat their homes and cool their homes, where people can afford
01:20to transport themselves to work.
01:21That's not going to happen if the Iranians are engaged in acts of economic terrorism.
01:26So they've got to know. We've got tools in our toolkit that we so far haven't decided to use.
01:31The president of the United States can decide to use them, and he will decide to use them if the
01:36Iranians don't change their course of conduct.
01:39Thank you all.
01:42Thank you very much.
