00:00Artemis II crew, we have a very special guest who wanted to be the first person to greet you after
00:05your return from the far side of the moon.
00:07Reed, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy, it's my honor to introduce the President of the United States of America, President Donald
00:15J. Trump. Over to you, sir.
00:18Well, thank you very much, Jared, and you are doing a fantastic job, and hello, very special hello to Artemis
00:25II.
00:25Today, you've made history and made all America really proud, incredibly proud.
00:31We have a lot of things to be proud of lately, but there's nothing like what you're doing circling around
00:37the moon for the first time in more than a half a century
00:39and breaking the all-time record for the farthest distance from planet Earth.
00:45Humans have really never seen anything quite like what you're doing in a manned spacecraft.
00:51It's really special.
00:52And tell me, what is the most unforgettable part of this really historic day?
00:58The whole world is watching and listening.
01:00Please tell me.
01:02I have to tell you, as we came around the near side of the moon, seeing all the sights that
01:07we've seen from Earth for all of our lives,
01:09but we're seeing them from a different perspective, and then we started to get a glimpse of the...
01:13And we saw sights, oriental, sights that no human has ever seen before, not even in Apollo, and that was
01:20amazing for us.
01:21And then the surprise of the day, we just came out of an eclipse where the sun, moon, and the
01:27entire dark moon,
01:29about that big, right out the window that we were watching.
01:32We could see the corona of the sun, and then we could see the planet train line up,
01:36and Mars, and all of us commented how excited we are to watch this nation and this planet become a
01:42two-planet species.
01:43We could see the moon.
01:44We could see the moon.
01:44We could see the moon.
01:44Obrigado.
