00:16In the heart of Gaza, where war has reshaped Chident itself, a small camp in Deir El Pala
00:22is trying to rebuild what conflict has taken away.
00:26Here, pain is not just visible in wounds, but in silence, fear and memories no child should
00:33ever carry.
00:35These tents are not hospitals, but for many children here, they are the only place for
00:41treatment.
00:42Run by the Sameet Project, a grassroots humanitarian initiative, this camp offers medical care,
00:49physiotherapy and something just as critical – home.
00:53With Gaza's healthcare system pushed to the brink, access to rehabilitation has become
00:58a daily struggle.
01:01Every moment matters.
01:02Every step is a battle fought in one.
01:06Physiotherapists here work through pain, trauma and resistance, helping children relearn how
01:11to move and how to trust again.
01:14For some children, recovery is slow, uncertain, but never impossible.
01:21Behind every session is persistence, not just from doctors, but from the children who refuse
01:27to give up.
01:28Beyond treatment, the camp creates space for something rare in war – a sense of normalcy.
01:35Inside makeshift classrooms, children draw, learn and laugh, trying to reclaim pieces of
01:41the childhood interrupted.
01:43For parents, the fight is different.
01:46It's about holding on to hope, even when the future feels uncertain.
01:51Every step that child takes is a victory against everything they've lost.

02:26Mariuma came to us, of course, on a carousel, and didn't have to move, and refused the treatment.
02:30And the result was a lot of changes.
02:33We reached this journey with Mariuma.
02:36And, in God's way, she will wait for her to go outside.
02:39And she will do the work, in God's way, in God's way, and in God's way.
02:42I hope that we can get rid of it.
02:44We're going to get rid of it.
02:45And, in God's way, I hope that we can get rid of any child in the world.
02:51That's the most important thing in his life.
02:53That's the most important thing, that he can get rid of it.
02:57In a place defined by conflict, this camp is fighting a quieter battle.
03:02To restore movement, to rebuild futures, and to remind the world that even in war, children still deserve to heal.
