Dominique spent years as a contract assassin. Then she decides she’s done with the past. Convenient plan. She crashes into Colombia, finds shelter with a family, and for a while you almost believe the movie might let her be. Almost.

Because the family doesn’t just need a hug. They’re on the radar of the drug mafia. And here’s the twist the trailer probably won’t warn you about: Dominique can talk about leaving violence behind, but she’s still the kind of person who shows up to protect the people who took her in. Which means the “safe house” becomes a firing range, and the opposition is basically “countless narco killers and corrupt police,” plus all the chaos that comes with refusing to stop.

Oksana Orlan carries the role like she’s done this before. This one’s not subtle. It’s violence with a conscience and a straight face.

Dominique war jahrelang Profikillerin. Jetzt will sie einfach nur durchatmen. Also flieht sie nach Kolumbien und versteckt sich bei einer Familie, die zumindest auf dem Papier wie eine Chance auf ein ruhiges Leben wirkt. Spoiler: Das Narco-Universum ist nicht für Neustarts gebaut. Kaum denkt man, sie legt endlich das Handwerk ab, wird aus dem Zufluchtsort ein Ziel der Drogenmafia. Dominique hätte theoretisch die perfekte Ausrede. Aber sie hat ihre Vergangenheit nicht abgeschworen. Sie hat sie nur umgezogen.

Oksana Orlan macht daraus ein „Ich bin nett, bis man meinen Adresszettel liest“-Ding: Dominique hilft den Leuten, die sie aufgenommen haben, und kämpft dann gegen Narco-Killer und korruptes Cop-Personal. Problem: Die Geschichte ist flott, aber auch ziemlich direkt im Umgang mit Gewalt. Vielleicht gerade deshalb sehenswert.
