00:05Integrity Crew, on April 15, 1970, during the Apollo 13 mission, three explorers set the record for the farthest distance
00:15humans have ever traveled from our home planet.
00:25You said Integrity, one report from the crew at the windows. We can actually see the moon and earth at
00:32the same time right now.
00:35It's interesting because the earth looks way brighter, so the earth itself seems to have a much higher albedo than
00:42the moon.
00:44I was able to get a view out of window one, which is a beautiful view. I can see the
00:50entire moon that they're looking at.
00:52We left the t-shirt up there, so I was kind of peeking through the opening and the makeshift shroud
00:57there.
00:59And once I was able to get two eyes on it, what jumped out at me was Vavilov.
01:04It's just peeking out of the Terminator. It's clear of the Terminator now, but it just really jumps out because
01:10it's still got the low light, the low sun angle.
01:14Wonderful, thank you.
01:15And another observation about Oriental, I would say, is the features going off to the southwest, the two large, almost
01:24look like scratches in the surface.
01:26I don't know if they're rays or canyons or collapsed lava tubes, but two distinct features that are almost parallel
01:33going off southwest from Oriental Basin.
01:36They are the first thing that made me notice parallax of our trajectory looking out at Oriental.
01:43That and in the inner walls of the east side of the crater rings, you really get a sense that
01:51we're flying over something with elevation and terrain,
01:54and they look different from this orientation.
01:58And, boy, I am loving the Terminator.
02:01I think, I know it's not purely a moon feature, but what it does to the features of the moon,
02:08to the terrain,
02:08I mean, I've probably spent the most time describing into my recordings and thinking about and looking at the Terminator.
02:15There's just so much magic in the Terminator.
02:19The islands of light, the valleys that look like black holes, you'd fall straight to the center of the moon.
02:25If you stepped in some of those, it's just so visually captivating that the Terminator is the most striking thing
02:34that I've seen so far.
02:38My 느낌?
