Found remains of eleven women and girls out in the New Mexico desert. That is the starting point for Boneyard, a case that quickly turns from evidence collection into a full-on trust problem. Detective Ortega, Police Chief Carter, and Agent Petrovick all want the same thing. Just not the same path to get there.

Their methods collide, their priorities don’t line up, and suddenly the investigation stops being about one killer and becomes a messy tangle of motives, rumors, and suspicious timing. It’s the kind of thriller where every new lead also feels like a trap set by the people chasing it.

Also, it’s reportedly inspired by true events of a serial killer that may still be out there today. So yes, the vibes are dark. Whether it hits as hard as it wants is another question, especially with that Rotten Tomatoes score.

Boneyard ist kein sauberes Mysterium. Es ist ein Krimi mit Kanten. Man jagt den Täter, während man nebenbei auch herausfinden muss, wer im Team wirklich auf derselben Seite steht. Und bei 44% auf Rotten Tomatoes sollte man nicht zu viel Wunderglauben mitbringen.
