Woody Woodpecker gets kicked out of the forest and lands at Camp WU-HU like it’s some kind of “new start” package. Spoiler again. Camps love new starts right up until an inspector shows up. Then suddenly the whole place is one bad report away from being shut down.

Woody, of course, treats the situation like a personal invitation to chaos. He tries to win people over, fix problems the way he always does, and generally turns camp rules into abstract art. It’s goofy, frantic, and not exactly built on subtlety. That said, if you want a loud, cartoon-style escape from reality where the stakes are closure notices and the entertainment is pure nuisance behavior, this one delivers.

And yes, it’s 2024. Still sounds like a whistle and a headache.

Woody Woodpecker wird aus dem Wald geworfen und landet prompt im Camp WU-HU. Klingt nach zweitem Frühling, ist aber eher „zweite Chance mit Dauerstress“. Denn kaum hat er seinen Platz gefunden, taucht ein Inspektor auf und macht aus dem Sommercamp ziemlich schnell eine Schlagzeile, die niemand lesen will. Woody versucht, alles als harmloses Camp-Chaos zu verkaufen. Spoiler: Das ist es nicht. Es ist Wildtier-Klamauk, der die Regeln wie Dosenbier auf Knopfdruck aufplatzen lässt.

Der Witz ist: Das Ganze wirkt, als hätte jemand versucht, einen ganzen Sommer in Cartoons zu pressen. Ergebnis? Mäßig clever, aber sehr laut, sehr schrill, sehr Woody.
